「This was an incredible end to our trip. The town is so quaint and adorable with so many friendly people. The houseboat was gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. The sauna was perfect since the weather was a little chill but exactly what you’d expect for the end of December. The host was very friendly and helpful. It was an amazing experience!」

「The house boat was a great family experience. The Volendam Marina area is fantastic for scenery, restaurants, and it's close proximity to Amsterdam. We took a 30 minute bus ride into Amsterdam for a day excursion. The bus service is convenient and easy to use for tourists.(just remember to swipe on and off)」

「Bel hébergement, bien situé. Un petit magasin est disponible au niveau de la marina. Un autre se trouve trouve un peu plus loin dans Volendam. La péniche bouge un peu lorsqu'il y a du vent, donc il faut tout de même s'assurer que vous n'avez pas le mal de mer. La cuisine est pratique pour se faire à manger. La ville est superbe et facile d'accès à pied.」

「We certainly enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. Monnickendam is a cute little town with a nice market, shops and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop into Amsterdam - very convenient. On the houseboat you find everything you need. Perfect spot in the evening is on the rooftop. Our host provided us with a very warm welcome. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Getting used to the dry toilet is a little challenge - there are „normal“ toilets in the main building.」

「Falsche Angaben mann könne mit dem Hausboot durch die romantischer Kanäle fahren. Dabei liegt das Boot fest angeschlossen am Steg. Das schlimmste war allerdings das das Abwasser auf der Toilette direkt in das Hafenbecken eingeleitet wird. Hat einem das Baden neben dem Boot doch vermiest.」
