"The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The bathrooms and toilets are very old and look quite tired. The shower curtain was visibly dirty along the bottom edge, which wasn’t pleasant to see. The floors and carpets throughout the room also felt worn and outdated. In addition, the cups provided in the room were cheap plastic, which gave the room a lower-quality feel. Another disappointment was the parking situation: we booked through Expedia and had to pay for parking, while it apparently would have been free if the reservation had been made directly through the hotel’s website. Overall, while the staff were great, the facilities and overall condition of the hotel really need updating."

"Rooms very clean, staff friendly and breakfast was plentiful. Beverages available in foyer, use automated till system using card. Didn’t notice if you could use cash. Room became unbearably hot in early hours so had to open windows but then noise from outside was annoying. Apart from that, we would stay again, but be more prepared. Pillows in rooms were cushion size. (Unsure if that’s the norm) "

"Great location- on a small quiet, side street and very close to shopping, nice restaurants including a grocery store. Breakfast was buffet style- lots of variety-something for everyone! I loved the building and the lounge area. About a 20 minute walk to the train station. A lovely hotel!"
