Perfect Location in Munising

Charming house right in Munising

Very charming historical house. Large common spaces for visiting, meals, etc. Very nicely appointed. Convenient to Munising restaurants and other places. Great launching pad to explore Pictured Rocks!

Girls Trip

The perfect place for our friend vacation! Great accessibility to the town and to Pictured Rocks Lakeshore. A huge perk is that it’s across the street from Dairy Queen so we got a sweet treat every night. Would stay here again

We loved staying here. Plenty of room with games to play on a rainy day. My family and I played Yoopernopoly! LOVED it! Even though located on a main strip, very quite. Walking distance to a little beach!

Fabulous restored home in town.

This home is beautifully restored and furnished with a mix of vintage and modern decor. Very comfortable and fully equipped with literally everything required for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the home as much as our vacation activities! The location is in town close to all natural attractions plus restaurants and shops. I can’t recommend highly enough!

In Town Munising

Clean charming old home. Very short walk into town which is welcome after a long day of hiking at pictured rocks. Home is on a main road, but it wasn’t a problem.. we enjoyed sitting on the front porch. We will return to this home again next time we are in the area.

Munising home

We visited Munising for a friend’s wedding. We found the location of the house to be perfect to site see and for the wedding venue. We could easily walk to get a bite to eat or coffee. Even though, the home was on the main street the home was well insulated therfor quiet at night. We were surprised to find the tub did not have a stationary shower head. It was a handheld shower head. Beautiful old home with modern renovations. We would stay here again.

The charming house across the street from Dairy Queen

This house is very charming and unique. We were 3 couples hiking Pictured Rock National Lakeshore and found the location to be ideal. You can walk to town, walk to the beach behind the house, sit on the porch and enjoy people watching and the highlight is the DQ across the street. It was a happening place. The place was clean, lots of kitchen utensils to prepare meals and plenty of space. Probably would need an upgrade to the mattresses (too soft for me) but others may find it perfect.

Great vacation home

The house is comfortable with beautiful, interesting decor and a lot of space for families. The location is very convenient and the check in process was easy. Perhaps this was a unique experience to us, on arrival we found that many dishes, utensils and cups had food or grease residue and in one of the smaller rooms the bed cover was visibly dirty. The house has no laundry or a dishwasher to easily rectify these findings ourselves. There is AC in the master bedroom only but there are many fans. With no central air, a large portable air filter would be helpful given the frequent air quality issues this summer from wildefires. Overall, this was an enjoyable stay aside from areas of opportunity mentioned.
