“It’s a beautiful spot but extremely small bathroom with limited/bare necessities. The breakfast buffet was extremely limited and mostly prepackaged items. No variety, every morning same items. Too bad cause it’s a beautiful location”

“Booked two rooms through the app. Arrived after a long drive through the mountains, only to be told our reservation had been cancelled — no call, no email, no warning. The explanation was a "system error" that apparently left them unaware they had no rooms. They moved us to another hotel. Calling it a downgrade is generous — the room felt more like a hospital ward than a hotel, closer to a cell than anything we had paid for. If you cancel a confirmed booking on guests standing in your lobby at……

“A very special, evocative and peaceful place!”

“If you are looking for beautiful scenery, helpful and attentive staff, great food and drinks , look no further!”

“Tutto perfetto!”

“Hotel Villa San Carlo was a disappointment. The hosts are exceedingly nice, but the hotel itself is in dire need of an update. Nothing has been done in 20 years. The beds are wildly uncomfortable, the bathrooms less functional from the shower cabins to the 20 year old hair dryers. Air conditioning works sometimes, WiFi is sketchy and the breakfast is severely lacking. Even for Italian standards. The same sad hard boiled eggs came from the fridge 3 days in a row.”

“Stunning Villa with everything within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean and really beautiful. Loved the blackout blinds as well. Laundry is available for use which was great for us after four weeks of traveling. Special mention to Andra who went above and beyond for us really appreciate everything she did. Only area for improvement would be breakfast, could be a bit less clunky with the ordering system etc and our order was always a bit wrong. Quality of the food was really good……

“Otroligt trevligt hotell i byns hjärta. Rekommenderas.”

“This place is STUNNING! It is a 1600's monastery that was converted by a husband and wife team to into a bed and breakfast. They are the ones that run it and truly take of their guests out of personal pride for what they have created. It is located on quiet hillside surrounded by vineyards and farm land. A magnificent setting to get away from daily stresses and enjoy the beautiful wine country of Piedmont. Having a car is helpful since it is a bit of a walk to the nearest town, but they can……
