The cabin is old and grungy! Nice kitchen appliances but old nasty cabinets. Two bedrooms but 5th person has the couch to sleep on. The cushions haven't been cleaned under for awhile. If you want a cheap place this is it. Maybe the cracked walls and ceilings and cords everywhere won't bother you. Never again

We had a good stay at this cabin. Its not a fancy place but it was comfortable and perfect for what we needed. Its right by the diamond mine so its a perfect location to stay while visiting the crater of diamonds. Bring your own towels!

Miner's camp right down the road from the crater of diamonds

The house could use some TLC, but it was very quaint, it was minutes away from the diamond crater state park. If you come to the park wanting to get right to work finding your riches miner's camp is the ticket.

Diamonds

Cute little older house that has been partially remodeled. Still needs some work but overall it was clean and served its purpose. There are no bath or kitchen towels so bring your own. There was also no dish or dishwasher detergent. For the price, it’s a good place to rest after a day of mining diamonds.

Perfect event

Awesome! The location had everything we needed. We had the outside fire pit and the neighbors were great. Panned for diamonds on Wednesday and had a blast at the site. Will probably go again next spring.

Great place to stay with the family.

Loved our stay at the Miners house. It was perfect for My wife and I along with our English Bulldog. House was clean and ample bedding was provided. Bathroom towels are not provided if you plan on using the shower. We plan on staying again in the future.

To Ruff for me

I don't mind a little ruff but the dead cockroach on the counter when we walked in with no wash clothes, paper towels to clean it up is to much for me. There were no towels in the bathroom either. We had to go to the dollar general and buy all that stuff. I expect at least the bare minimum sorry just not for me

Great little miners cabin

The cabin was nice, perfect for miners. It was clean and rustic, great access to the park and supplies for mining. We grilled and used the kitchen to cook. It had everything we needed and was perfectly adequate. TV worked and we couldn’t have asked for more in a miners cabin!

Exactly as listed. Very close to Crater of Diamonds. We will definitely stay here again. Yes, part of the ceiling PAINT is coming down. That didn’t affect us in any way.

Grandma's house meets summer camp cabin

If you're looking for a 5 star place to stay, this ain't it. However it met all our needs for a short stay. It's close to Crater of Diamonds State Park, had a clean comfortable bed, bathroom was clean but there were no bath linens. Everything else was provided. The outside space has beautiful moss and we enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch.

Can but needs maintenance!

We were there only 2 nights. However, inside smell of pets & mold are rather strong. Water or drains had a strong sulfur/sewer gas smell. Ceilings need repaired, it visible in photos. Deck & screened porch need repairs & cleaning.

This property is not fancy...if that’s what you’re going for, don’t rent it. It was great for what we needed! Very clean! The bed in the master bedroom was probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! Bring towels for the shower. The only problem we had is there wasn’t a tv.
