"The house itself is beautiful and so perfect for what we needed. Unfortunately there was no communication from the host at all, I had to search for a phone number and call to ask how to check in. When we arrived we noticed that the floors and bathrooms had not been cleaned properly, the cutlery draw had something spilt all through it, the sponges we were left to clean dishes with were old and covered in food. The fry pans were damaged and were not clean, all the kitchen cupboards had bits of food and crumbs through them. There was about 2 spoonfuls of coffee and sugar left in the canisters. We spent the first hour there cleaning and also had to clean the aircon vent as it was completely blocked and wasn't working properly. The door for the en suite bathroom had been removed and was in the garage. The outdoor area was covered in cobwebs and dirt making it not somewhere we wanted to sit. The beds were all small doubles, not comfortable and the bedding did not seem overly clean. The couched and cushions in the main living room were also quite dirty. This is such a beautiful little home and with some attention to detail and better communication would be an awesome place to stay."
