“We booked voco Muscat Al Mouj for a one-night transit stay after landing late at night, opting for a value-for-money option before moving to our primary luxury hotel.
Initial impressions were great. Check-in at 11 PM was smooth, and the front desk staff were welcoming enough to offer a room upgrade. The lobby was very modern, clean, and stylish, and the location was super convenient - just a short drive from the airport.
Unfortunately, what should have been a flawless budget stay turned into……

Because the staff at check-in did not inform/ask me if I wanted to put a credit card on file, the restaurant called my room at 8:30pm to inform that someone would come to my room immediately so I could pay for dinner (which I’d……

“The staff are exceptionally friendly but the overall cleanliness of the hotel needs to improve and updates need to happen. Daily housecleaning is offered but the hotel needs some more attention. A profound deep cleaning and paint job. Gym was great and location is not too bad. Pool cleanliness is questionable so I avoided it. You can always get about using local taxi apps. And walk down 30min to have a nicer area on the beach. Direct beach near hotel is a fishing community with shacks so best……
