“Great breakfast - love the fried eggs and croissants, they are so fresh. Angela gave me lots of useful travel tips - on how to take buses and trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where to go for dinner and where the local market is. Also took two day trips to the Amalfi coast, all the way to Amalfi. There are some great restaurants and delis nearby, it's comforting to have some deli food and fresh veggies and fruit after a long day of sight seeing.”

Host was thoughtful In providing 2 bottles water, 1 bottle prosecco , teacups, glasses , dental kit, adequate shampoo, soap.tea and coffee in shared 2 room common area . “The apartment is a short walk from Salerno train station and conveniently situated near multiple shops, restaurants and cafes. The cute balcony offers a nice view of the surrounding neighbourhood and patios below. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was offered daily. There was unfortunately a plumbing issue in the bathroom and apparent mold buildup in the ceiling corner which was visually unattractive and came with a slight odor. Host was aware and had plans to have it……

“B and B “Boutique Epocha” is a lovely and quiet oasis in the sea of madness that is the busy city of Salerno. The host is extremely helpful and the breakfast food is very good including some home-baked items. So lucky to have found such a great place! ”

“Clean room ”

“A great location, friendly check-in, and nice size for a family of four. The only downsides are hot water for showers is pretty limited so you need to space them out or have short showers, and the ladder to the bunk bed is not fixed onto the bed making it a safety concern, but this could be fixed with a couple screws. ”

“The owners were very sweet, my only issue was that the room was 6 or 7 floors up. I knew there was no elevator just wish I would have know that it was on the top floors due to the fact that I have major knee problems, & lugging suitcases up was not fun for my husband. However the location was great, just a walk away from the water.”

“Arriving wasnt a good experience. The host was not ready for us. The info to the apartment was sent after we have arrived trying to figure out how to get in. We arrived in a ran storm which doesnt help. Our room was cold, no information of any kind on our to work coffee machine , where to get anything, where the wifi is. We have to figure things out ourselves. When i message the host , i didnt get respond till the next day . The room was large though with balcony. Our room was not clean……

“The room is big and comfy”

“the breakfast is bad with opened milk that is outdated, orange juice that is only 40% and cant be opened, and an unfresh bread. ”

“Posizione della struttura molto buona, vicina alla stazione dei treni da cui partono anche i bus per la costiera, vicina al centro della città che è piuttosto raccolto, vicina alla fermata del bus Flixbus sul Lungomare Trieste. Tutto raggiungibile a piedi. Struttura molto buona, la mia camera era la Zaffiro, ampia con bagno in camera, frigobar in stanza e balcone. Il signor Christian è molto gentile, consiglio questa sistemazione e spero di tornarci. ”

“The location is fantastic however it shouldn’t be advertised as Bed and Breakfast because there is no breakfast, only coffee but the machine is not very friendly anyways. ”
