I took my mom here for her 60th birthday trip and first international trip. She absolutely loved the room, as did I. From the old entry way, you feel like you’re stepping back in time, and once you enter the rooms, it’s quite breathtaking. The way the property is set up is quite nice, with a guidebook with restaurant recommendations and local tourist options. The B&B is in the old part of town and is only accessible by walking but it is worth the effort. The staff are exceptional and very welcoming. The breakfast was standard and delicious, with home cooked options. I had the pleasure of dealing directly with the manager, Angelo, and I can’t say enough. He made us feel right at home and was very accommodating, making extra effort to ensure we had a great time. I highly recommend Casa Sant’Angelo and think you will not make a mistake by staying here.

Uitzonderlijke mooie locatie in de binnenstad van Salerno. Alle bezienswaardigheden liggen op wandelafstand. Wat zeker een pluspunt is. De suites zijn zeer ruim en hebben een zeer authentieke uitstraling. De badkamers zijn zeer confortabel. Enig minpuntje is het warmwaterdebiet, in alle badkamers die we konden gebruiken, was het enigzins moeilijk om de temperatuur te regelen. Alle personeel dat we ontmoetten was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zo werd onze bagage nog voordat we het konden vragen spontaan naar de kamer gedragen. Ook bij het ontbijt verliep de bediening vlot. Het ontbijt bestond uit een keuze van typische Italiaanse ontbijtproducten (gebak, yoghurt, fruit, charcuterie). We verbleven 6 nachten ter plaatse. Voor 2 nachten kregen we een gewaardeerde upgrade. Vermeldenswaardig is ten slotte het feit dat op vrijdag en zaterdag een nabijgelegen bar zorgde voor heel wat geluidhinder to 01.00...

Honestly, this is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. It's gorgeous. Rooms are really well-appointed and characterful; breakfast is generous. Wi-fi is good, if you're bothered about that. It's not great for people with mobility difficulties, but so long as you're OK with stairs, you'll be fine. I can't recommend it highly enough. It's amazing value. A few nights at this place is itself a reason to go to Salerno and to use it as a base for exploring the region

A magnificent property, with a spacious room, apparently some Marquis lived there in the 1700’s. Rooms were very historical looking , but had a/c, tv, etc.Bathroom was very modern and functional. If we ever went back to Salerno we would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous!

This beautiful hotel spoiled us for the rest of our trip. The rooms were big and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious and it was wonderful to have access to the room with tea and biscuits at all time of the day. We had 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms which was fabulous for our teen. The location was also great - not too far a walk to the train or the harbor as well as restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!
