“Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation……

“room was very modern, however some areas did not look well cleaned (edge if the bed had some dried white liquid). the surrounding area has nice shops but is very sketchy at night. did not feel comfortable with the parking situation. also at 6am sounded like maintenance or cleaning crew was constantly in and out of the elevator making tons of noise. was good for a night but wouldnt stay again.”

“We loved everything. The only thing is the mattress is a little soft and you easily roll to the middle!”

“This was a super cute boutique inn and the location was ideal. The staff was super friendly!”

“Quick responses by staff! Comfortable bed! Gorgeous amenities! Loved the location was right down from Tandem Coffee!”

And there is no table and only one chair so that’s a negative, if you want to work in your room or have room service, there’s nowhere to sit and eat. The walk-in range shower is great, bathroom is lovely, but the water pressure in the bathroom sink is terrible. But overall, a lovely hotel, if I stayed again, probably just for one night. They……

“Excellent stay! We were welcomed with complimentary blueberry wine and the concierge helped carry our bags to our room. Noting that they told us we'd receive a text with a link to order breakfast food, and we never received anything. Had to go down the street to purchase breakfast!”

“Super hotel in walking distance to everything downtown”

“good size room, convenient location”

“Great location and clean rooms. The walls aren’t very thick though so you can hear a lot. The bar is a fun vibe and the bartender, Chris, was wonderful! Great service and conversation.”

“The geographical environment is close to tourist attractions, and the environment is clean and hygienic.”
