"Ramada Hotel is a classic, traditional hotel in Guayaquil located in the downtown area, which is very walkable, although you should still be cautious when walking around. Right across the street is the Malecón, which has security, and transportation can easily pick you up or drop you off at the entrance, making it safer. The hotel has been there for many years and, as I was told, is currently undergoing renovations. The room I stayed in had not yet been renovated, but it was still spacious, comfortable, and perfectly fine for a stay. The pool and other amenities were great, and the breakfast was very good, including a couple of traditional Ecuadorian dishes."

"Dirty walls, not what I paid for there was some sore of insect that bit me on the head, also the came to fumigate my room had to sleep in a very nasty chemical infested room, finally the last day they change my room to the type of room I paid for but it had no hot water, next to impossible to get a towel to shower, lots excuses but it appeared that the hotel was full and in order for them not to loose the business they would give any kind of room available to the clients, also there was lots of solders in the place the terrace was full of clothing drying such as underwear Sox etc….a real shameful place with a great location, your customer service was not helpful at all and will continue to write to the BBB to put in a complaint against you cause you are selling a product without inspecting it put people at risk…"
