“An excellent boutique hotel perfectly located for walking to the many places to visit in Mdina and Rabat. Very close to the main bus stops and restaurants. The hotel is in a grand old building, fully and tastefully modernised inside. Our room was spacious and well appointed. And spotlessly clean. Breakfast was generous; we appreciated the range of fruits. Grace made us very welcome throughout our 3 day stay and was very helpful on practicalities like transport. “The room has no air conditioning, and the temperature is quite uncomfortable. According to the front desk, they are not authorized to turn it on. How is one supposed to sleep when it is so hot in the room? This shows very poor judgment on the part of the hotel management.”

But unless it specifically says city view or pool view you have the back overlooking pipes with the smell of grease coming up and a generator. Complained. Was told complaint was prioritised. Never heard from them again. Despite there being other available cheaper rooms with views available online. Under the bed was dirty. There was a hair in the shower and the fridge. Ants in the foyer. “1. No lift for 2nd floor units, narrow stairs to carry heavy luggage. 2. Too narrow doors to move freely in and out of rooms 3. First two nights Airconditioning was controlled by the owner and it was put to off or not working, suffered in heat after heated email/text , they switched it ON. 4. Breakfast has very specific timings per room , need to visit only in that 30 min window for breakfast. 5. Near to Airport, and near by general shops and bustop. I will not recommend this place to anyone,……

“Very stylish hotel, well attended rooms, friendly, helpful staff.”

“Breakfast had plenty of choice and was warm and fresh. Rooms, clean and made up every day. Bar, staff needed training or a little help with certain drinks, especially when paying a little more for and Aperol Sprtiz and Margaritas but no big deal. ”

“Was asked on arrival to block €200 on my credit card for any ‘extras’. I pointed out that there was no mention of this on my booking and in fact it clearly stated that any ‘extras’ would be invoiced at check out. “The only good thing about this place is the view. They didn’t send the codes I needed to get into the place or for my room so had a whole of unnecessary hassle. My “superior “ room was anything but with a tiny bathroom and no superior appointments.”
