“This is a perfect location right next to the city wall. Great architecture and very polite staff. The view and food in the Wine and Cheese Restaurant on the top floor was excellent. But I am not a big fan for wine and cheese but mainly refer to the dinner. Wifi is not reliable in room. Some electric socket was switched off in the main switch. Towels are old. But for the location I still give it a 5.”

Not only it is 8-minutes away from the Old City Jerusalem to Damascus Gate and New Gate but it offers an experience of living like a locals in a great clean suburban neighborhood. No frills but it has the necessity of having a kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, kitchen sink , counter top stove, dining area, two twin beds, private bathroom and shower and A/C. The price is affordable especially if you need to stay longterm. ……

“The staff are very helpful and friendly. They make you feel like you’re family. They were quick to respond when there was an issue with the heat in my room. The hotel is beautiful. The main floor is antique like the old city there is a lot of room to enjoy company or reading. The rooms on the upper floors are modern and very comfortable. My room had a great view of walls at the Jaffa Gate and the Tower of David. I highly recommend the Gloria Hotel ”
