“This place was horrible. Like I was stuck in a time warp. Only one towel and a bath mat for two guests. Had to go to the front desk to get more. No facecloths. The phone in the room looked like a kids' toy, there was a windup alarm clock. The walls were dirty and the bathroom was tiny/cramped and had lots of staining in the tub and shower head. I used the ironing board and fully extended it was as tall as the top of my thigh and I have short legs. Felt like it was made for a midget. The……

“The inn keeper was very nice and even upgraded our room free of charge to the corner room with a view of the town. The building is a beautifully upkept, literally Victorian style inn on the main strip of Ferndale; only 15 minutes from downtown Eureka. The dining room and bar have a homely feel with the large fireplace and friendly staff. Each room at the inn is unique in its own right and theme. I was surprised at how tall the ceilings are because usually older buildings have lower ceilings, but……
