“The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were super helpful and accommodating! The location was great; you can see the beach from the balcony and it’s barely a two minute walk away.”

“There was enough parking for this hotel the desk clerk was a trip. She was very helpful very understanding very any questions she could answer them. The air conditioner was great in my room. On the microwave work the refrigerator worked. There’s not a lot to watch on the TV. It’s just a simple Roku TV so there’s no apps or HBO or nothing like that to watch so if you have your own then that would be better but overall, my stay at fifth and Ocean was excellent. It was in the middle of everything.……

“Great stay. This is a small, older motel but well maintained for the most part. There are only a couple of useable electric outlets (as is common in older buildings) so suggest if you have several things to charge bring a power strip along. Check in was a breeze, staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and everything worked as it should except the balcony door sticks so sometimes couldn't open it. Btw they have connecting rooms……

“Everything was great except having to pay for parking twice, because there was no clarity about where to park”

“The location for this property was in a decent location on the boardwalk and beach. The property itself was very run down and needs work. Our initial room was in bad shape with multiple issues. Since we were booked for 3 nights, Mitzi at the front desk was very helpful and managed to move us to an upgraded room for the 2nd and 3rd nights.”

“DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH OR MONEY HERE. This was the most disgusting, unprofessional hotel experience of my life. We arrived after a 7-hour drive with 5 people, including children with severe asthma and allergies. Capitalizing on our exhaustion, the front desk clerk pressured us into a 3-bedroom suite upgrade, charging an extra $190+.The room was a biohazard. We were hit by a wall of intense heat and a heavy, musty stench. The air was so thick it was physically hard to breathe—a medical emergency……

“This was a pigsty. False advertisement online. Fake pictures are posted. I can not believe Expedia allows them to book through them. Full of cockroaches, filthy. As soon as we got there we realized it was a scam. And thats not all, Despite all my efforts and telling Expedia I took pictures of the roaches and the filthy room including the stove that looked like a piece of trash, that property denied to refund my money. I paid 1,285 dollars for 2 nights! It was the weekend of Labor Day and because……

“First don't park under the dripping slime mold parking area... the slime doesn't come off your windshield. Ceiling and walls crumbling... the carpet was so filthy, frayed and sticky that we had to wet wipe our feet. The bedding was at least clean and the beach is awfully close, but that's about the only positives I have for our stay.”

“Location is great. Overall stay was good Some issues we had: • Elevators in the parking garage need to be serviced. We were stuck in one because the doors didn’t open. After a minute or so I was able to pull it open and exit. • The mattresses and living room chairs are very outdated. The mattresses need to be changed out for sure. • There was a lot of cigarette and marijana smoke in the parking garage elevators and on other balcony’s that made sitting on our balcony hard to do.”
