Breakfast buffet is wide ranging, staff are very accommodating and helpful. Dinner service too is excellent, nothing is ever too much for the staff. Gym, pool and games facilities were really lovely and we made use of all. Rooms could be cleaner in my opinion, bathroom tiles were a little dated and there should be better attention to detail for the hotel standard.

the stay was terrible as the hotel could never manage any food services for hotel guest. all orders took more then 40-50 min to be served . there was no table set for morning breakfast , no management done for guest breakfast

The breakfast buffet manager can do better to look after guests, like ask for coffee, live counter etc. When approached, service was provided. Room not cleaned by the time communicated to front desk - they had 3 hrs to do it. Bathrooms are super small. Not a 5-star bathroom.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. First off pros. Staff prompt and responsive to fix deficiencies. Courteous. Professional. However the hotel bills itself as 5 stars but realistically more like 3.5 to 4 stars. I had higher expectations. Examples. TV was not even connected first day and staff had to come and finagle behind the tv to reactivate it. Body wash was empty in bath upon our arrival. Shower curtains and bath mirror stained. Shower fixtures quite dull scratched and have lost their sheen. This was a reserved room for 3 people but only 2 bath towels stocked. The sofa bed was not stocked in advance with bedsheets or pillow. We had to request. In isolation each of the issues not significant but in totality did not live up to expectations for a 5 star facility.

A little pricey, but worth it
Stayed for a couple of nights with family (two rooms - interconnected). The hotel staff were young and friendly. The food (we had two breakfasts and one dinner) was quite good, with plenty of choices. The only small inconveniences were that the A/c. in one room was not very effective, but we managed by adjusting the settings, and the cleaning on the first day could have been better. The hotel seems to be favoured by families, which is a good sign. Overall, a great stay.

Wonderful experience
Grand Mercure Mysore was a wonderful experience, staff were really helpful & approachable, room was in perfect shape & facilities were fabulous. Whatever you ask of them, they will get it for you. Only a small point here, you should have more games for the tiny tots like a play area, the one you had was for non-school going kids and very small.

Shame in the name of 5 star property. Nt evn 3star
Terrible house keeping. They did no check on if TV, Kettle, are working or even present. Took 4 hrs to settle down. They had not provided Fuctional tv, electric kettle, sufficient water bottles, tea cups, slippers, tooth brushes, towels even after repeatedly asking. If you are hungry, do not even attempt to order. It will take at least an hour even for snacks and that too exorbitantly priced. All food is good, but you cannot expect that every time it takes almost 2hrs if you going for Al carte.

Great restaurant, cold but nice pool and good area. The problem was my small room on the 5th floor. I asked for a quiet room so was given a room at the end of the hall. There loud noises and explosions above all day and night from perhaps a generator that made it impossible to sleep. So avoid the 5th floor especially a room at the end if the corridor like mine

We checked in at this property and it was a nightmare. They asked like 4 forms of ID and treated like us like a third world country people unless I showed my US passport and then the respect and the hospitality came out. We asked for ice cubes multiple times and got only once or twice. We were charged for breakfast for both days and they had to adjust it since we used breakfast only for a day!! And the manager took that offf as well for inconvenience. AC and phone never worked. When called front desk they sent some one up and he told this is how it is on AC and they don’t have spare phones!! Not a luxury hotel service overall.

Well located, friendly staff, responsive, surprised with Xmas sweat treats on decorated plates served two days during our stay, fresh fruits and mineral water replenished daily. Adjoining suite door not fully sealed for acoustics. Otherwise, our stay was enjoyable.
