「Exactly what we wished for, a delightful getaway from the typical crowds. Every morning, we relished the beginning of our day by sipping coffee on the balcony while searching for the resident donkey. Just witnessing the sunrise light up the breathtaking landscape each morning was truly calming. The whole place emitted a fantastic vibe, and this lovely home is powered by solar energy!Thank you, Wendy and Dave! When we arrange our next trip to Big Island, we will definitely reserve months ahead...

「This was a very cozy, clean and pleasant cottage for an island getaway. Marie was able to arrange a floral arrangement for my wife’s birthday, which was beautiful and extremely thoughtful. There were plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby and they were only a short distance from the cottage. We would definitely stay there again!」

「This place is huge! There was plenty of room for us to spread out and not get in each other's way. The pantry was also well stocked with things you might have forgotten to bring, which was a plus. The area is in a quiet neighborhood except, of source, for the coqui frogs that plague Hawaii. Even those can be charming with the right mood. We enjoyed a really relaxing stay here and appreciated the convenience to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Sadly, our departure was on a day when the nearby Cafe...

「We enjoyed everything about the house and the location was perfect for visiting volcano national Park. Choices of restaurants and grocery stores is limited. Would’ve liked to known that we were living above somebody. That was not made clear and I learned it from the reviews. House has lovely scenery, only one TV and no cable. 「Great location… just a short ride to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (5 minutes). Beautiful house in an ohia fern forest setting with an outdoor hot tub which was fun for the kids. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the Macnut chocolates and coffee provided was a nice touch! Would definitely rent again! It was a nice relaxing getaway with the family. 」
