Overall great experience

Only complaint was it appeared the cleaning crew did not wash the bottom most bed sheet. The rest of the sheets were clean, along with the rest of the house. Everything else ran smooth including pool and hot tub. Location is great and easy access to beach.

Had a great time.

Check in was easy. Overall the property including the pools was clean when we arrived. So close to the ocean that everybody enjoyed. Adults enjoy the big pool and small children had a blast in the small pool. Replies to questions were so fast. After couple of days, technician came to clean pools and hot tub of sand again. Accesibility to other recreational activities ( go cart, mini golf, fishing, surging)and grocery were excellent.

Great house!

Our family group of 17 had a wonderful time in the Nags Head area. The house was spacious and the children especially enjoyed the pool and the smaller pool/spa. It was so nice to walk out the back of the house to the beach! We also appreciated how many restaurants were nearby that could accommodate a group our size. On a different note, the owner responded within hours when we called that the alarm on the door to the pool area needed to be replaced or have batteries changed. What a relief! We had a great experience!

All Seasons Mini Vacay

We had a great time for our first time visit. The house is beautiful and accommodates many. It is located next to the life guard station, which gives you a flatter walking path to the beach. We will visit Nags Head again sometime. We did have a couple of issues. One was an unpleasant experience with a Maintenance Guy. The other was a hot tub that did not work but for a couple of hours in our 5 night stay. This was an amenity that attracted us to pick this house.

Peaceful place for big family gathering!

Pros: Beds comfortable, soft cotton sheets, well supplied kitchen, roomy, nice big dining table, living room cozy and great for big gatherings, washer and dryer, 3 refrigerators. Bathrooms clean. No mold. Kid safety latches on gates and alarm on basement door. Quiet and peaceful area. Cons: no oven mitts or trivets, no fly swatter. Funky odor down stairs. Bath mats were dirty or stained. Outdoor water turned off so we couldn’t wash sandy feet or use for grill flares. Lots of sand spurs in carpet. Only 1 towel per customer. Portable ice maker dirty. 1 of the outside trash cans were full. Rusty nails and wood chards on walk to beach.

Great Location

This is a good property in a great location. The house w as clean but needs some love. We had an issue with the dryer not heating, they came and "fixed It " but it took the actual repairman to come out and do something I told the 1st guy to do. ( Clean out the lint) . The inground hot tub has a ton of sand and water it it. Just drain it and put flowers or fill it in. There was sand piled up on the back porch, around the outdoor toliet. The floor in the game room bathroom is falling in, the kitchen tile is chipped in alot of places, the counter tops are all messed up and cracked. I would rent another place 3 doors down that was clean out side.

Perfect location for a great getaway

We booked this rental to have a family get together to attend my son's graduation from ATTC in Elizabeth City. The property was in a great location, within 2 hours of Norfolk airport, and close enough to drive to Hatteras, Roanoke Island, and Kitty Hawk.The management team was extremely responsive to every question or concern. It was beyond excellent customer service. We had a couple of issues with the K cup brewer, and within one hour of my inquiry, a brand new one was delivered and installed! The power supply for the electric griddle was MIA, so, guess what, a brand new one was dropped off for our use.The check in-check out was effortless, and they even offered to extend our stay because we arrived late, but our plans didn't allow us to take advantage of the offer.The property is updated, and in good shape. It could use a little TLC, but so does everyone's personal property. The house showed signs of great times and lasting memories, and we were glad that we made some there as well. Everything we needed for our stay was there, and if you need more than 3 refrigerator/freezers, a wine cooler, and a countertop ice maker, I'd like to get an invite!We visited in the off season (March 2025) and the weather was a bit cooler than normal, so the pool table, board games, and arcade got a good work out! The hot tub was a nice addition on the cooler evenings.I would love to have another reason to visit the OBX, because this property would be #1 on my list!

bad experience

WiFi didn't work (I fixed it), NO hot water first 2 days, then numerous interruptions to repair, a woman from OBB just walked in on us first night claiming we called about a service issue, dishwasher didn't work (there was two, though), no supplies at all, not even trash bags, the house was absolutely nasty and the house is extremely run down, we wouldn't get in the hot tub because it was nasty I am done with you people.

When we arrived, there had been a weekend storm that had left the pool full of sand and the beach access walkway impassable. We called the rental office Monday morning but were told the pool is technically closed for the season and as such someone may or may not show up to clean it. We were also informed the walkways being cleaned would be up to the homeowner. We understand weather events happen and didn’t expect miracles but during our entire weeks stay no one even visited or inspected the conditions of the property. It was marginally unsafe and certainly not what we expected. The hot tub was also full of sand. Overall, the property is in need of repairs and the lack of basic action to insure inhabitability was alarming. We were in OBX during hurricane Matthew and we saw what a responsive homeowner/property management team were about. This was a minor wind/rain event and not a sign that anyone cared about the quality of our stay.

Not the quality/value for the price point

Our family rented this place to be together for a celebration of life which was supposed to be a joy but instead we were burdened with a low quality rental that needed lots of clean-up and work-arounds. Grill, pots, dishes were all filthy. Cookie/baking sheets disgusting. Kitchen was completely disorganized. No potholders for oven, no scissors for opening food, a burner out, ice maker had mold in it, trash can broken with no lid, water filter needed to be changed on the refrig. Screens blown out of the front porch. All of the blankets were filthy and needed washing. Quality of mattresses and pillows poor. Roku was missing from TV. Remote for main TV in family room didn't work. It's a shame - the place is a great location and has a lot of potential. Also, Outer Banks blue wouldn't do anything post the rental - basically said you should have called us. If I had to call for everything I found wrong I would have been on the phone with them every hour. They won't do anything after the fact to compensate a bad rental - really poor customer service.

OBX Family Vaca 2023

Awesome location to both beach & town!. Great size house with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The house was very spacious for all to enjoy and be comfortable. Good amenities. Pool & hot tub were nice, they did have a guy come by to clean & maintain the hot tub while we were there. HOWEVER…the house was not as clean as I would have expected; counters & appliances had to be cleaned, looked like the microwave had not been cleaned in months. Only clean appliances were the fridges & dishwashers. The floors needed to be swept, tons of sand. There were ground spurs all over the rugs, so obviously they had not been vacuumed. The bed sheets were clean, but not the comforters, they were stained and dirty looking. Towels were clean. There is no smoking in the house or on the premises but there was a can full of sand and cigarette butts left on the back deck.The gas grill was disgusting and full of ants, we had to scrub it and burn off the ants, dirt & grim just to use it. Sand & filth between the couch cushions. Someone must have had a party and there were remnants of streamers tapped to the ceiling and window blinds. The living room sliding door lock didn’t work, had to use a stick to secure the door. The two bedroom slider tracks were so caked with sand they were difficult to open. We left that place 100% cleaner than we found it! I think they should look into a better cleaning crew. We did have fun in OBX and I would go back, but probably not to this same house.

The location was great. The house could have been cleaner. The Ice maker was broken. Which was annoying. Being on the beach was fantastic. Hot tub worked great. Super easy check in and out. Linens were helpful!

Family Reunion

Perfect for a house on a budget. We did have to clean when we got there, my assumptions were their was a bachelorette party prior to us arriving and the kids found things they shouldn’t have. Also it wasn’t cleaned up outside(beer cans and water bottles) prior to us arriving either. Also found some bugs. Overall was on because in comparison we didn’t pay that much. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us. A reminder if you’re coming to cook, there are no coffee filters, no spices, no cooking oil but plenty of pots and pans, plates, cups and other important appliances. For us the location couldn’t of been any better, watching the sunrise with your family in the morning was priceless.

Fabulous Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time together. The place was spacious and located near shops and restaurants. The downfall to this place was the washing machine was not working and was told it would be repaired that Friday during my stay, and it was not. The freezer in the main kitchen was not cold and things melted. The wireless internet was not good; there was a lot of buffering.

Not what it seems

The house is in a great location, but needs a lot of work. The kitchen has drawer door missing, one of the dishwashers leaks, water was shut off to multiple sinks, screens were torn on doors. The house was not clean, table sticky, sheets on the bed with stains, dust and grit all over the floors.

Great location

House was spacious and well laid out. The location was perfect. The pool and kiddie pool were very nice. The beach was a a short walk through the back yard. We had a great time. The down side was that the house was very dirty. The dining table was sticky and dirty. Shower curtains were black with mold Floors were veery dirty. Trash was found between a bed and the wall. Minor repairs and updates need to be made.

Family reunion

The property was everything we expected & more , steps away from the beach & the pool was clean & very good sized . The house showed signs of dating: microwave handle broke, ceiling fan didn’t work . The a/c on the 2nd floor went out on the 3rd day there. Thankfully there was a good ocean breeze every night! The management company kept in touch, sent out a representative immediately but unfortunately couldn’t get it running due to back ordered parts. He did however fix a sliding door on the spot. Very friendly and forthcoming. We were there for the location, which was awesome. The rooms were clean and even some beach gear to use. The only complaint was there should be at least 1 more city garbage can for the house & a couple more interior cans . Also a listed schedule for garbage pickups
