“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. “We stayed 12 nights at the Surfin C Gull. Upon arrival, the Front Door Lock and Entry Code worked perfectly... a first for us. We looked around and found the house was very clean and the appliances were new. The king bed mattresses were very firm... a little too much for me, but good for my wife. “Beautifully furnished immaculate home with easy beach access. Centrally located near stores and restaurants. Loved the decks and deck furniture - fun evening on the deck feeling like we were “ in the trees.” A lot of love went into this place. Lots of nice “extras”: a keurig with coffee pods, tea bags and tea kettle, books and games , beach towels to name a few. Although there is no beach view, you still feel like you are on the beach. Highly recommended!”

“The Surf Shack was just a darling little place to stay. Kitchen and dining area were particularly nice.Access to the beach was directly across the street, so convenient.It is located in a great spot, easy to get to so many places. But best of all we could just walk down a block and we were at Surf and Spoon, one of our most favorite places on the beach!”

“We had a great stay. Excellent location, easy to get in and out to places. Several of the seafood restaurants are very close.The views from the condo were excellent and we were able to take advantage of the balcony overlooking the beach. The sound of the waves crashing was so relaxing!If we decide to come back we would look to stay here again. Highly recommended.”
