Stayed in a pet friendly one bedroom chalet. Room overdue for a refresh. The pull out sofa had reached end of life as the cushions were worn leaving bed frame exposed when in closed position. Kitchenette had few utensils making meal prep a challenge so recommend bringing a few things from home. Amenities were great, pools and restaurant did not disappoint. Website not accurate as no dishwasher as advertised.

Limited options at the restaurant, food is good, not great. Not very good breakfast options at the cafe, but enough to get you by if no other option. I’d recommend bringing in a bbq or some other food if your stay is more than a night or two. We drove to nakusp for breakfast and brought back sandwiches for lunch

Overall it was a great stay. The bed was comfy, it was quiet, and rooms were clean. As it’s calling itself a “resort” and it’s isolated 25 min drive from the nearest town. I expected a few more amenities. Conditioning shampoo does not work for most ppl with long hair- conditioner in the room is a must. We had zero housekeeping to refresh coffee, towels etc and as a result we ran out of coffee after day 1. There is no place to eat before 9am and at that time it’s a small cafe with limited options. The “kitchen” was a fridge and microwave so actually making food was not an option really. Having said all that- we enjoyed our room, the shower was great and the hotsprings were relaxing. The spa was def the highlight highly recommend getting a massage with ice globe facial. I’d def go back to the spa but I doubt I’d ever stay here again due to the lack of amenities and food options on site.

I could not believe how incredibly quiet it was. We were in a lower suite with people above and didn’t hear anyone. Staff were great. Food was delicious at the restaurant. The autumn colours were spectacular. The resident turkeys were entertaining. The room was spotless. Really enjoyed our stay here. We only used the pools at night and they were quiet.

We stayed 2 nights at Halcyon. We loved our cabin, loved the pools, loved the food at the restaurant, and the coffee was on point too! Our critique is that our cabin didn’t have a kitchenette and we were 30 mins from town. The coffee shop had some breakfast option but closed at 2. Meanwhile the restaurant was great for dinner, didn’t open until 3. It would be nice to have a fuller service breakfast and lunch situation on site.

Easy to fix

The facility is definitely amazing!, but the staff is definitely banking on that to provide a mediocre to poor service, especially at the restaurant not so much the waitress but the food was extremely disappointing, area for improvement !, front desk the person that helped us can definitely be more friendly and welcoming , the pool should be open earlier than 11:00 am!,considering is one of the few thing's to do over there. $465 per night is a high rate anywhere in the world!.

A group of 5 of us girls went to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. It was so beautiful and the chateau was wonderful- clean and quiet and close to the lake and hotsprings. We went to the natural hotsprings as well and those were great. It was a memorable trip and I would go again and again!
