「What an experience. Bill and Paula and their extended family were so kind, and really made us feel welcome in their family and their village of Yamata. The accommodations were clean, the food was excellent, and Bill was great with communication leading up to our visit. Snorkeling with sharks is not to be missed, and same with the low tide beach that is walkable (between Wayasewa and Wayalevu). Read all the other reviews so you know how to prepare, and you will have an unforgettable experience....

「My friends and I booked this stay at the last minute because we wanted an adventure and to get a feel for the 'real' Fiji. This homestay did not disappoint. Our host Bill and his wife Paula were absolutely wonderful. Bill is an excellent communicator who is prompt, professional and honest. 「Ocean View is a must-stay homestay for anyone looking to experience true Fiji time.
As a solo traveler, the room was perfect — clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Vil and Paola took amazing care of me and always made sure I was comfortable. While the food was a bit pricey, the portions were massive as long as you are an adventurous eater — depite this I never finished a full plate!
