Tunnel Hill is special. A private 3 1/2 acre oceanfront estate tucked away in one of Qualicum Beach's most sought-after locations. And one of only nine beachfront properties in the Qualicum area with the coveted "Estate Residential" designation.
Located almost next door to much-loved Milner Gardens and Eaglecrest Golf Club and just minutes from the charming town centre of Qualicum Beach, the Memorial Golf Club and the Qualicum Beach oceanfront promenade. At Tunnel Hill you are so close to everything yet you will feel as if you are at your very own beach retreat.

Enter down the 1/4 mile, forest-lined private drive to Tunnel Hill Cottage, a 2,000 sq. ft. beach home with rustic charm, original old growth Douglas fir floors, large stone fireplace, wood burning stove and even 2 hand carved Western red cedar totem poles. Your family and friends will immediately feel at home. Outdoors you will discover park-like grounds , woods, grassed areas, a secluded garden retreat and "The Tunnel" For which the property is named. A modern marvel, with pathway and lighting, the Tunnel leads to the "picture perfect" beach below. Enjoy panoramic 180 degree views to the east and west and across the Strait of Georgia (Salish Sea) to the Coast Mountains. Relax, go swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, or walk for miles on the beautiful sand beach and explore the ocean tide pools. In the evening the sunsets are spectacular. And later gather around the large beachfront fire pit, perfect for an evening campfire and marshmallow roast. Tunnel Hill is "what memories are made of....."

Exceeded Expectations
Tunnel Hill was the perfect spot for our family holiday. From the start, communication with the Tunnel Hill team was exceptional. Being greeted upon arrival and shown around was very much appreciated. The cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable. The golf cart and tunnel down to the beach were highlights. We loved the view, the outside amenities and the peaceful setting. Tunnel Hill exceeded our expectations and we hope to return.

Restful and Perfect!
Great experience! The view is amazing. great to have a fast way to go up and down to the beach, which is incredible. Saw lots of whales (both humpback and orcas). Lots of space for four of us to do our own thing but ideally located to grab groceries without having to take a lot of time out of your day. Fire pit was awesome, kayaks and a paddle board too. All in all one of our favourite vacations. Mike and his whole team were great!

Simply Wonderful
This was our second stay at Tunnel Hill Cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first. Everything from pillows and beds to amenities on the property are better than one could hope for. Property team is very fast to answer any questions and easy to contact. Would highly recommend this property to all. Thanks for everything Tunnel Hill, we will be back again and again!

A few things missing
This is a very nice property. I do believe it is overpriced however. My family and I use VRBO properties for our vacations often and never have we come across a kitchen like this. If the cook is in the kitchen, they’re on their own. There is a reason there is only one picture of it. There is a beautiful view at the back of the house, however the back deck could use more chairs and a sturdy table as well as some lighting for the evening hours, otherwise your in pitch blackness. The living room and bedrooms were comfortable and clean and we all slept like teenagers!
