“Reggae music in the bar, great kitchen with super tasty food, fast service and friendly folks, the best sea view you can imagine, still low season end of April so barely any people than us on the beach. Half occupancy in the guesthouse, lively in the bar at night. Clean as clean it can be with a house right on the beach. A perfect combination of all things good in life. ありがとうございました, Familiar! “Our stay with Hideo and his family made our entire trip to Japan. Saying this is a vacation home does not do it justice. It’s more like staying with family. Family who take you around to see the sights, family who take you in and enjoys a meal with you, who treats your children like their own, shows you all the best things Japan has to offer. “Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. ”

“Mr Yamamoto is an excellent host who was very helpful. His fluent English is helpful. The house has a good supermarket and other shops very near by. 10-12 min walk to Kitaoji subway station. Taxis come upon request within a few minutes. Out of town center but a very comfortable place to stay.”
