One of the loveliest stays we have experienced in a unique place. The peniche is exquisite and cosy. Some people might not like sharing the common spaces with other guests. However, we had the place to ourselves 2 nights in a row and met lovely people at the breakfast table. A place like no others. There could be more comfortable chairs in the living room if the weather was inclement.

Absolutely lovely venue, unique. Fantastic location on the river and the views were lovely. So tranquil. Wish we had stayed longer.

The welcome girl, was not very welcoming. A smile would have been nice. The toilet made a grinding noise every 30 mins. I felt the place was more suitable for youngers that like living together in a glorified youth hostile. View from bed and toilet was the best.

Unable to get past the gate to park our vehicle. Fortunately someone unrelated to the property was able to get us through. Once we parked, we were unable to get into the property. Had another guest not arrived shortly before we did, we would have been unable to get in. There was no one to greet or check us in. A staff member arrived in the morning to prep a breakfast. Most unusual check-in process I’ve ever experienced. Had we known this in advance, we would not have booked this reservation. Our travel partners and other patrons also experienced the same frustration we did. Other than that, the barge was nicely appointed, our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was simple but delicious.

Very hard to contact them

four emails sent between 4 weeks and three days prior to departure asking for door codes, as we were likely to be late. No reply received to any of them. Called number day before departure several times and was told number was not in service. Sent fifth email on day of departure and finally received an email reply telling us the door codes. Explained this to staff this morning, who claimed they hadn't received any but the final email, and said I should have phoned!!! I did!!!!!

De passage à Nantes, nous n’avons même pas cherché ailleurs !!!!! Nous y étions venus 2 nuits en février 2024 et avons tellement aimé que nous avons voulu faire découvrir ce magnifique lieu à notre fille ….. On y vient et on y revient…..Tout y est superbe…

Underbart boende

Underbart boende i Nantes! Trevligt bemötande & fint rum. Frukosten serverades varje morgon, annars fanns det möjlighet att använda köket & känna sig som hemma. Båten är tillräckligt stor för att en inte ska behöva trängas med andra gäster. Ljuvligt att kunna äta middag ute på däck efter en dag på stan. En liten promenad till spårvagnen som tar en direkt in till centrala Nantes. Perfekt boende med familj!

Bucolique et hors du temps

Une escapade entre deux temps, qui permet de prendre du recul sur la course du quotidien. Préparation du séjour et contact avec le personnel excellent et toujours bon accueil et réponse clair. Sur place, découverte des lieux, en liberté. Tout étant organisé avant, il n'a pas été utile d'avoir un accueil physique, et une visite des lieux avec un regard de découvreur...tout est indiqué. Aux besoins, un appel et ...une réponse 👍. A part cela, c'est une péniche, et les petits animaux ont leur place. Excellent moment en amoureux...je conseille.
