I usually dont give reviews unless i realy like or dislike something. The kitchen has cockroaches, the a.c. is so loud that only a drunk person could sleep with it on, it says that has tv's in every room but in fact there is only 1 tv, without a remote for the tv box. I kindly asked for a late check-out and i was denied even for 12 insted of 11. I will definitely avoid this place in the future.

Lovely condo

This was a perfect location for exploring the west coast and our day trip to Lanai. It was close enough to Lāhainā to make daily visits there yet far enough away from the crowds to give a perfect balance. The food trucks down the street were awesome!!

Great stay!

Condo was as advertised - well stocked kitchen, clean and lots of beach gear! We had a great stay and loved the location - walking distance to great food options, near food trucks and easy access to many beaches! Laundry and pool were great! Had small issue w door access code, but prompt response from host who resolved quickly. Would come back and recommend in a heartbeat!

Retirement retreat

I booked this property for a 10 day trip to west maui. My husband and i recently retired and we had a group trip with family and friends. The property was within walking distance of several businesses. We went to the maui fish market across the street a couple of times. Down the road there were several food trucks across the street from a market that was open until 2am. Bed was comfortable, but the cooler in the room was so loud. We had to turn it off a few times when we really needed to sleep. Kitchen was stocked with essential items. We used the pool a few times on the property it was clean and refreshing. Property grounds were clean and kept up. Our oldest son and daughter in law also stayed with us. Down side was no reliable parking for another vehicle. Room only had one vehicle pass per reservation. I understand why, but it was still hard for my son to find parking close by. Most areas were no parking zones. All in all it was a good experience and i would rent this property again. I really liked the access to different businesses on foot. We patronized several shops in that area throughout our stay. Lots of friendly helpful people.

Fun themed place to enjoy Maui from

Good location. Cheerful decor. Would have liked washer and dryer in the unit. The shared units were hard to find. A gecko was welcoming each night on the outside light. Liked having boogie boards and beach towels to use. Kitchen set up was open and nice. Mahalo!

Everything you need for a great price

The place was great - it fit a family of 4 perfectly. Loved the double bed situation in the 2nd room. The apartment is stocked with all kitchen and appliances. It is super close with restaurants and the apartment has its own entrance onto the beach. We left the door open for most of the time to enjoy the breeze. The only thing is that there is no communication with the property management which is fine for us. It did take a few min to figure out how to use the auto lock system. The key pad goes black when not in use and we had to figure out where the key pad was when we first got there.

Excellent Condo

We had an amazing time at this condo. It was clean, had many amenities and was close to everything. This was our first time visiting Maui and we cannot wait to comeback and stay again. Shana was very responsive and helpful.

Great location, great kitchen

We have stayed in quite a few different holiday rentals around Europe and the US, the the kitchen here had everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals! That was a first! Spices, appliances, pots and pans with lids, etc., were all present. It’s a great place to stay on the west coast of Maui, especially if you have smaller children. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful location

This property was perfect for a family!! It had everything we needed for our cooking necessities and beach items such as coolers, chairs and biggie boards. It has a pool view. The walk to the beach is about 1 minute. Beach is beautiful from this condo.

Great staging point!

PROS: -Great staging point for beach activity off property...many amazing beaches within a 10 min drive. As you'll read below, use this as a place to eat, sleep, and re-charge between daily excursions and you'll be pleased! -All beds extremely comfortable (including the pullout sofa-bed) -Property had 3 coolers to use, a great ice machine near the pool (always full) -Great kitchen functionality (12 cup coffee pot, blender, crock-pot, good dishwasher with stocked dishwasher detergent, plenty of plates and utensils.) -Free parking -Fantastic shave ice location just south (walking distance). -Supermarket and ABC convenience store within a 1/4 mile -Powerful portable air conditioners in both rooms kept rooms very cold at night with the doors closed (loud white noise from these machines but we actually found that helpful as the condo is right on a road. Additionally, we had jet-lagged kids getting up at all hours of the night, so the white noise let others sleep)...FYSA...we went with 4 other families all staying at different locations close to this site at similar price points per night. Many stayed at locations with better ocean views from the deck, and nicer pools...but the lack of AC in those condos made sleeping very tough for their children and the adults. -Great spices and non-perishable condiments left behind by prior renters. -Very nice trees/flowers/grass (garden view from the deck) -Shanna (owner/manager) was extremely responsive. We needed extra towels and she provided them within minutes of me asking for them. -Great water pressure for showers (removable shower wand) and lots of hot water for the shower. CONS: -No view of ocean from deck -1 bathroom -No laundry in the unit (coin laundry on property) -No beach on property (you can snorkle from the property but there is no beach to sit) -Swimming pool on property nothing special (3 feet to 7 feet deep). No kiddy pool, or hot-tub. -Zero views of the ocean from the pool. -No place to lay out on beach chairs near the water on site as the grassy areas near the water are infront of other condos. The property has beach chairs along the ocean wall...but they are literally right infront of other condos so there is no privacy for you (or them) if you use them. Overall...for a family looking to get out and see the island this is a great place to stage from!!!

Nice place but just okay

Positives: -Good location -Apartment had all the needed amenities -Lots of kitchen items for cooking -Clean - owner was easy to communicate when items broke during our stay - items like child gear, 2 beach chairs etc. were nice to have. Cons: -Apartment was very dated and old. -Furniture needs a refresh. -not enough seating, only living room seating for 3, maybe 4. -AC is only in the bedrooms and very loud. One broke during our stay, luckily it wasnt too hot. -very loud, right on the road facing the bedrooms. - multiple things broke during our stay (lights, fire alarm, ac) two were fixed promptly. -washing machine is on the property not in the unit and you have to pay to use it. Overall it was okay we had a nice stay but probably wouldn't stay again.

The property worked well for our needs

We had an overall great experience and we would return to this location. The property is perfectly located on the west side with access to great beaches, walks, trails, and minutes from downtown Lahaina. As a family of six, this property met our needs. It has a nicely equipped kitchen and dining space. The storage bin on the deck with some sand toys, coolers, etc was really nice for our family. A couple of things that I hope are improved is the parking spot and some basic information. The designated parking spot is not too close to the actual condo. It is oddly placed on the opposite side of the property. It would be helpful is the spot was reassigned to be closer to the condo. Also, we were not told that we needed to fill out a parking form and submit it to the management office. We had a warning ticket on our car the first morning even though we were in the assigned spot. The main area of the home does not have air conditioning and is quite hot especially if you’re cooking. The rooms do have A/C which is nice, but with a family of six we wanted to use the pull out sofa in the living room but it was just too hot to sleep so we ended up putting all four kids in one bedroom. Also, there is an ice machine in the pool area which is great for your use. It would also be nice if the owner would provide the pool code. We had to go to the management office to receive the code. Again, the property is overall nice. It could use a bit of updating, but is a fairly good price for the options. FYI: Fleming and Slaughter House beaches are amazing.

A little love would help!

Great price for the place. Near the ocean but no beach at the complex . Their is one very close by, but not the best beach. Loved the king size bead and the balcony with the sun in the afternoon. Near everything on foot. Big condo, lots of space. I would say that theirs a bit to much dishes in the cupboard, leaving no place to put our food. Would have appreciate having cleaning products to clean the bath, the table and the kitchen while we where there. We could of left it much cleaner before leaving. The stove top wasn't working very well, closing in the middle of our cooking. Their is a very bad smell under the bathroom sink, where the towels where kept. Some kitchen chairs where stained and the ones on the balcony where very tired. Only 2 beach chairs. We bought 2 more and left them there for other users. At first, we where assigned the parking #2 (on paper) and we where in an argument with other tenants, saying it was theirs but in the condo, the information mentioned the parking #10.

Below Average

We arrived at the condo ~7 pm on Hawaii time on Oct 14, 2017, and found another car parked in our designated parking space. We immediately called the property manager/owner. We were only able to leave a voice message. We also texted her multiple times. No response. We ended up having to park at another spot but had to move the car because the owner of the space showed up. We moved the car to another spot but was ill at ease all night knowing that our car could be towed. When we got into our unit, the extra key that was supposed to have been left on the kitchen counter wasn't there. There was also no instructions whatsoever on how to access Wifi. We called the owner and texted her multiple times again. No response. We found out next morning that the property manger/owner was actually living in Utah and was already in bed when we arrived. But all we really needed was a clear instruction. It would have made us feel so much better if there was instruction inside the unit about Wifi, key, parking space...etc. We are in our mid-50's and we have stayed in many condos. We have never stayed in a condo where there was no instructions! The place was average. There was no second key. I can tell the living room and the kitchen was remodeled not too long ago. But the bedrooms and the bathroom were not. The bathroom cabinetry looked very old with paints peeling. It made the place look cheap. The smaller bedroom had this weird smell and the smell stay the whole time. The air-conditioning units were very loud but we were glad we had them in the bedrooms. The kitchen cabinetry and the counter were 6-12 inches high than normal. It was very difficult to reach things. And the breakfast counter was essentially useless because it was way too high for the provided barstools. The refrigerator had a leak inside and there was already a little plastic container to catch the leaking water. The place was stocked pretty nicely. And it is located in a very convenient location. Next morning, we got a text from the manager with all the info that we requested. She gave us another parking space number. However, 5 days later when we checked out, we found a parking warning notice from the condo resident manger saying we've been parking in someone else's space, and it would be towed at our own expense if not move immediately. Apparently, the resident manger and the condo owner have not come to terms with the parking situation.

Marvelous Maui Memory Maker

Comfortable, quiet, airy & welcoming condo. Truly felt like home away from home! Every need met. Perfectly situated spot to start our sightseeing from. We can't wait to come back. Would absolutely recommend this condo, will never stay in a hotel again!

Very nice 2 bedroom 1 bath

This condo was very clean and comfortable for our stay. The temperature and humidity the week we were there was very high so we had a hard time cooling down at night. The bedroom air conditioner was very loud. This location is perfect for those who want to use it as a central location to see all the sites on Maui.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay for families or otherwise. Within walking distance to some shops and restaurants. While it is very close to the ocean, be advised that the beach is NOT a swimming or sunbathing beach.

We loved the lanai and the grounds! So relaxing!

Thank you for allowing our family to stay in your home! The lighted tree was a nice touch when we arrived on Christmas. We enjoyed our time! The person who cleans your home is very nice! We had a chance to meet her as we were packing the car. We only have two suggestions. Share directions on how to use your shower and let potential renters know that you cannot see the ocean from the lanai. Unfortunately, the palm trees have grown together. Thank you again!
