Each room is equipped with ceiling fans and benefits from natural trade-wind breezes and jalousie windows that allow excellent cross-ventilation throughout.

Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko.

Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi — please don’t harm them.

The HOA provides regular pest control, but insects and lizards are part of island life.

Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal activity — we’ll coordinate with the HOA to help.

Unit was clean and well appointed. Needs another TV in one of bedrooms. There was a temporary manager whi was very nice, kept grounds clean but in 11 days never once vacuumed elevator which has rug floor and was filty. Know this isnt VRBO problem but first thing you see in building was not appealing. This was our 7th time to Hale Mahina so we jnew this wasnt representing of building.

Great stay for family vacation!

The condo had everything we needed for a relaxing stay! Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, and plenty of extras like snorkel gear and boogie boards. The sunset views were incredible and the daily turtle visits were a treat! The only con was the upper bedroom/loft was warm (no a/c) however the property owners provide fans in each room and all have ceiling fans as well. Don’t hesitate to book this gem!!

The condo was recommended by a friend and we had been longing to go. It was everything she said it was. Very nice and clean, well stocked with everything we needed, everything worked as it should... and the best part was evening sunsets. We really had a hard time leaving the property to go explore the island but when we did everything felt like it was right there. we will come back and we've already recommended this spot to friends.

Amazing sunsets, whales and turtle - oh my!

The fish condo was so lovely. Everthing we could need was available. Upon arriving their was attention to little details such as towels folded as a swans, tissues folded into roses, chocolates and coffee. We saw sea turtles daily on the beach, whales out on the ocean and a rare monk seal on our beach! The pool and grounds were maintained daily. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Best of all was relaxing on the lanai with a cup of coffee, listening to the surf and amazing sunsets. The only surprise was that the condo does not have air conditioning. We arrived later in the day and our first night was unpleasantly warm. There are plenty of fans available and once the doors were opened up, the condo was more comfortable.

The Fish Condo is a Great Catch

We were surprised by the spaciousness of this condo. Sometimes photos are deceiving but not in this case. We were a family of six…multigenerational. We never once felt crowded. The view was perfect. The beach was safe for the kids. Sea turtles all day, every day. The property manager was kind and helpful. The pool was sparkling clean. Sorry, nothing negative about it. Five Stars.

Amazing Beachfront Condo!

My family and I loved our time at the condo. The view is unbeatable. We loved the private beach and swimming pool. The location is great - just a few minutes drive from plenty of stores/restaurants. The only issue that came up during our stay was that one of the beach chairs we left on the beach went missing after we left it there for a couple of hours, so would advise to not leave things on the beach unattended to. Mike was a great host - the condo had all the essential amenities and then some. I appreciated his responsiveness to questions. Would love to stay again in the future.

The Fish Condo

Our stay at The Fish Condo was amazing !! We saw turtles come to our beach; we swam in the ocean with the turtles !! The pool & hot tub were great. We ate our meals out on the lanai & watched multiple, beautiful sunsets. It was nice to have a place to park our rental car. Washer / Dryer were great so we didn’t have to pack much. It was so relaxing that we skipped some offers for touring the island, & just spent time swimming & sunning ourselves. Kids loved the boogie boards.

Best condo in Maui

Mike's condo is unbeatable. From the private beach to the condo itself to all the amenities included, Mike's place is simply the best. The rooms were comfortable and able to accommodate our family of 5 with plenty of space. We would absolutely return for another trip to Maui. The location is prime. Mike also let us do late check out, which was extremely helpful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

The Perfect Place DOES Exist!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fish Condo. The location of the condo was fabulous...close to the beaches we wanted to spend time at, but away from the crowds of Lahaina. The accommodations worked great for our family of 5. The only complaint was the street noise was VERY loud in the front bedroom, but that was situational and not a reflection of the property at all. We loved sitting out on the porch and watching the turtles swim by! I could have done that all day! The owner was very responsive to any questions that we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing!

This place is awesome pics are exactly like it. You have everything you need here. Much is provided like laundry soap dishwasher soap etc. The beach is perfect! We saw turtles and a seal! Wonderful lanai so sit and watch the ocean and sunset. Very quiet complex! Owner very responsive!

Ocean waves

Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves was awesome. No need for an app when you can have the lanai screen door open and listen live. Was a memorable time spent with family. Thank you to the owners for sharing their little piece of heaven with us. Mahalo!

Best VRBO we’ve ever experienced

If you never leave this condo for your Maui vacation you’ll still have the best vacation ever. Inside the condo is lots of space for our entire family, with every detail and amenity available from extra blankets to kitchen staples to sand and snorkel supplies. The view from the lanai is second-to-none! The entire property is pristine and we loved the private beach…Our kids chased waves and built sand castles for hours. Mornings were spent sipping coffee and watching whales from the lanai. In the water below, tons of sea turtles swam by and a couple even parked on the little beach for a visit (amazing!!). In addition to all of these miracles of nature, we got to come back to a clean, well-cared for condo each night that provided literally everything we could want and need. Mike was great with communication and was even kind enough to allow us late checkout. Thanks so much for sharing your place!!

Perfect for Toddlers

If you have a toddler and coming to Maui you need to stay here. Perfect spot opens right up onto a very well manicured lawn for toddlers to run around + the beach on this property is ideal. No/low waves with shallow water allowing parents & toddlers to be confident in the water.

Wonderful Views, Turtles and Whales!

The Fish Condo was everything we were hoping for from the pictures and reviews. The view was amazing, we sat on the lanai a lot just watching the whales and every afternoon turtles came up on the beach. Mike was very responsive when I asked if there were spices available (there were), and when requesting a late check out. Will definitely stay again!

The Fish Condo never disappoints

Wonderful week in Maui. Location is perfect and the condo even better. We feel at home while on the island. See sea turtles everyday this time and a monkseal. Special indeed. Cannot wait to go back.
