The B&Bhotel had parking at about a 6 minute walk. I installation where pleasant and rather comfortable. The train station, with regular connections to Napoli, Pompei y the Vesuvius is at about 12 mintues walking. Much better than by car, the traffic is horrendous.

It was a great hotel, right opposite the entrance to Herculaneum. Room was a good size and the beds comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice at breakfast. Also there is a great terrace where you can take your own food and drink and just relax or order from reception and have something brought to you. Theres plenty of good restaurants nearby and the railway station is 10 mins walk away for direct trains to Naples and Sorrento and easy connections to Pompeii. A great value hotel which i would recommend

Great place for a night - so convenient being right outside the Herculaneum park and very close to the train station. Free breakfast was a bonus.

I booked this hotel to save my budget for staying near Naples and going from Naples to Sorrento, Capri and Positano. But it was not worth it. Because it’s very far from Naples and trains between Ercolano and Naples central are every 45 minutes. So if you miss a train in last minute, you need to wait about one hour.

The staff were helpful and the breakfast was very nice. It is a good location if someone wants to tour the ruins across the street. Parking cost extra, which was not a problem for us, but the parking area was not near to the hotel which was a bit of a hassle.

The reception was disjointed from the rest of the hotel which caused some confusion. The room was small but adequate and clean and tidy. Breakfast location was excellent close to our room. Breakfast was fine. Great location to Herculaneum opposite.

Incredible Service.

Everything about my stay was great. The staff is incredible. They were the friendliest and most helpful. I highly recommend this hotel, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I was floored by the level of service.

Room size was big and nice (booked a triple bed) but the hotel has very limited facilities, there is no tea or coffee in the room, breakfast is very simple and hotel is located half an hour away from Napoli. It is a average hotel and it is good for few nights stay but nothing special about it.

Awesome place to stay !!!

The first thing to say is "WOW", what a great place to stay - the entire place was beautiful and was such a perfect stop on our trip to Sicilia. The room was so nice and comfortable we didn't want to leave. The food was incredible and the staff was just over the top awesome !!! We are very picky when we travel about cleanliness, value and customer service - we were so pleased that everything was even better than advertised - we will absolutely stay here again when we get the chance !!!! Bellisimo !! Bella !! Perfetto !!

Pros: Staff friendly and helpful especially with ordering taxis; elevator lift for luggage; nice lounge area upstairs near room; large shower; buzz to get in from street; Herculaneum ruins just across the street. Cons: Website amenities state restaurant, bar, deli, coffee shop but they’re not in hotel but they are just steps away from front entrance; street light right outside our window and had inadequate blinds to shield at night so room too light for comfortable sleeping.

Located right outside Herculaneum and a short walk uphill to the train station this hotel is very convenient. Perfect if you are getting the late flight into Naples as no public transport is available and long distance taxis are extortionate. (This was €65 which was insane compared to the extremely cheap buses and trains in the day however it was over €150 to get nearer Sorrento) We used this as a base for 2 days to see Pompeii, climb vesuvius and see Herculaneum before moving to Sorrento side. The bus to reach the Vesuvius hike was at the train station a few minutes walk away. Hotel was clean, had aircon, a cute outdoor area and free continental breakfast. Very noisy from the street. Take ear plugs if light sleepers.

We had a great stay at Hotel Herculaneum overall! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. It even had a lovely balcony overlooking the street! It was tidied up daily and washcloths and bathmats were replaced daily (there is no Do Not Disturb sign - which we didn’t mind). There was a slight drainage issue in our shower on our first night (which caused a little flooding) but the issue seemed to have been fixed by the time we returned the following evening. The front desk staff were amazing; they were friendly, helpful, and happily answered our questions. The surrounding area was safe, considering that the hotel is steps away from Herculaneum (safe for tourists). The hotel’s best feature is its location - aside from being right across Herculaneum, it is only a 10 min walk from the train station (Ercolano Scavi) which is where you can take the Circumvesuviana line to go to Pompei, Sorrento (Almafi coast), and Naples; therefore, it is central to all of these places!
