Tolle Unterkunft in Neapel

Wir waren eine Woche in dieser schönen Wohnung auf dem Vomero über Neapel. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, wir hatten alles was wir benötigten. Es gibt sogar den Luxus zweier Bäder!! Vor allem der Parkplatz ist Gold wert. Wir haben in der Zeit das Auto nicht bewegt. Warum auch, mit der Metro oder der Funcolare kamen wir wunderbar runter und auch wieder rauf. Der Balkon bot beim Apero einen wunderschönen Blick über die Bucht von Neapel. Véronique ist eine tolle Gastgeberin - vielen Dank.

A month in Naples

I cannot say enough good things about this property. I will recommend it to all my friends. The neighbourhood of Vomero was lovely. Lively, interesting, safe, and contained everything you would need. It is a short ride on the funicular from downtown. Some places, especially from the castle provided the most breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples. Our host was extremely helpful and welcoming. The apartment was well outfitted and very quiet!

Very nice apartment. Lovely balcony overlooking Naples Bay. Well equipped. Convenient to grocery store, restaurants, shopping. Like two bathrooms too. All in all great value.

Schöner Stadtteil, wunderschöne Aussicht vom Balkon

Sehr guter Stadtteil mit perfekter Verkehrsanbindung. Wunderbare Aussicht vom Balkon. Gemütliche und schöne Möbel . Supermarkt sehr dicht. Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin sehr gut. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Lovely apartment with amazing viewd

Veronique was the perfect host welcoming us personally after having arranged our transfer from the airport (an excellent and good value limo service). The apartment is in a beautiful Old house with amazing views over the bay of Naples. The area is a mix of residential and shops/ restaurants and a great choice for any length of visit. The apartment is not large but has everything one might want (very large or infirm people might struggle on the stairs in the apartment but it should be fine for most people). Well equipped kitchen. Small sitting room, two bathrooms with showers, and a very comfortable bedroom with a private terrace. The value for money was fantastic. We were unlucky with the weather but metro and funicular links to everywhere are reasonably close.

Wonderful Stay

This is a gem. Property perfect for a couple... Everything you need re equipment and the pictures do not do justice to the view from the balcony. The neighbourhood is great, quiet and leafy but close to great bars and restaurants and easy transport to Naples centre. Veronique was a lovely host , generous and welcoming. Really can't recommend enough.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Neapel

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem hübschen und gut eingerichteten Appartement verbracht. Die wundervolle Terrasse ließ uns die Strapazen des Sightseeing vergessen und mit Blick auf die Bucht von Neapel erholten wir uns mit einem Glas Wein. Es gibt zwei Duschbäder, so kommt man sich nicht in die Quere. Die Lage in Vomero ist sehr gut, mit den Standseilbahnen ist man schnell im Trubel der Stadt. Vomero bietet alles und noch mehr, was man sich von einem Stadtteil wünscht. Veronique ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, sie hat uns für die Transfers sehr nette Taxifahrer empfohlen. Wir wollen wiederkommen in die Cassetta Belvedere!

Enjoyed our Stay

This flat works fine for a couple, and the tall ceilings give the impression of more space. If the weather is good, the deck off the top-floor bedroom would be a nice place to relax and have a glass of wine while enjoying the ocean view. It's very quiet in the bedroom, and we slept well. It's nice to have a bathroom on both floors of the flat too. The kitchen works great, and it's just large enough to prepare simple dishes. The flat is very clean too. We just parked the car after arrival in the space we reserved with the host, Veronique, and used the funiculars and metro to get around town. Vomero is a nice neighborhood and has pedestrian-only roads on some streets for strolling and watching the world go by. Our communications with Veronique were great, and driving to the flat was a challenge even with Google Maps running on the mobile. If driving, Via Aniello Falcone is a one-way street, and finding #56 is tough to find on the wall. A better landmark is the illuminated small sign on the right side of the street for Suono Libero Music, which is easier to spot. Turn into the passageway immediately to the left of this sign. Go straight about 50 meters, follow the road as it turns right, go straight another 50 meters, and then turn left to drop down about 10 feet and wrap around running in the opposite direction. The flat is straight ahead at the green gate at the end of the lane about 100 meters or so along the alley. Good luck and be prepared to back up so that oncoming cars can get around you. We enjoyed our 5 nights spent at this flat, and would return again in the future. There's a lot to do and see in Naples, and it makes a good starting point for a day-trip to Pompeii too.

A week in Naples

This apartment is really great! It's tucked away next to a larger villa behind security gates. Very private. Although compact it had everything we needed – perfect for two. There is a small kitchen which has all the essentials and a bathroom on each floor. We had a great week in Naples, exploring the city and surroundings and it was always a pleasure to return to Vomero and sit on the apartment balcony with a sundowner looking down to the bay of Naples. Vomero is lively and has many bars and places to eat. Gorizia is a great place (about a ten minute walk) and Garage (just opened) has fantastic food. Everywhere seemed to have fantastic pizzas! You are also near to the Metro that connects to the historic centre and three funiculars than take you down below... Veronique, the apartment host was really welcoming and arranged for a taxi to collect us at the airport, as well as showing the Villa's beautiful terrace overlooking the bay of Naples. The apartment is also beautifully furnished – simple but stylish.

Charming apartment

Thanks to Veronique who is as charming and lovely as her apartment! Her apartment is thoughtfully and stylishly furnished and is in a quiet, safe and welcoming location with stunning views of the chaotic excitement of Napoli centre. We visited the lesser-known Herculaneum as an alternative to Pompeii and similarly enjoyed the island of Procida instead of Capri - so many options, too little time!! We felt at home wandering the vibrant, ancient streets in Veronique’s local neighbourhood - she will point you in the right direction of many fascinating places to visit. If you want an authentic taste of Italy don’t hesitate to visit Casetta Belvedere - also a thanks to Salvatore who transferred us to and from the airport as recommended by Veronique, his English is very cute to listen to! Happy Holidays :)

How do you say amazing in 10 languages?

This was without a doubt the best vrbo we have ever stayed in. Veronique is a sweetheart and so helpful. Her restaurant and tourist information was right on every time. The place is perfectly equipped, located and scenic. The pictures don’t do it justice. We truly didn’t want to leave.

Perfectly located comfortable property

We spent two weeks in this little house in Vomero. For us it was perfect in every way. Clean and comfortable with a great view and located close to a choice of public transport into the frenetic centre of Naples and beyond. It was great to be able to return to peace and quiet after a day sightseeing. We found it easy to shop locally for whatever we required and the kitchen is well equipped for all forms of cooking. Veronique is the perfect host and we were extremely grateful for her help when one of us was taken ill during our stay. We loved Naples and our visits to Herculaneum ,Procida and Pozzuoli. Staying at this property really enabled us to make the most of our time there. We would highly recommend it to any one.

Lovely apartment and enjoyable stay

Lovely apartment with everything we needed for a very enjoyable first trip to Napoli. The owner Veronique was very helpful, organising our transfer from the airport and arranging to store our luggage on the last day. The view from the balcony is wonderful and we enjoyed many breakfasts and suppers watching the boats go by.

Great apartment and convenient to metro

The owner was amazing to work with and her property was equally impressive. We had all of the conveniences at our fingertips including metro service. Lots of restaurants, stores and wine shops close by. We sat on the balcony overlooking the water every night that we were home! We highly recommend it.

Fantastisch appartementje in hartje Napels

Bijzonder smaakvol ingericht, het is niet groot, maar het huisje is brandschoon en alles is er. Het uitzicht op zee vanaf het balkon is geweldig. Alles is te voet of met de metro heel goed bereikbaar. Let op, vraag de verhuurder een goede beschrijving van hoe er te komen, voor ons was het wel even lastig om te vinden.

Great propert in an ideal location. Patio/ view and 2nd bathroom are a bonus. Kitchen well appointed

Location was perfect. Vomero district is very nice and great for evening walks and dinners. For old Napoli, a convenient funicular is only a 10 minute walk away. No need for a car at all after check in. Owner Véronique is very responsive and nice. After meeting her, I can tell she cares that the people who rent her Property are satisfied and happy.

Beautiful, quiet, dreamlike!

We had the best time staying at Veronique's Casetta Belvedere' property! The place was exactly like the pictures very nice, clean, cute, cozy, but the view on the deck doesn't compare to the pictures. It was just unbelievable!! We couldn't get enough of that view. Our kind and gracious host was very attentive and available to help us with whatever we needed and gave great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area. It was really hard to leave because we felt at home and enjoyed every moment! We will recommend this place to all of our friends and family and when we come back to Vomero, Napoli we will definitely be staying at Veronique's place again!!!
