The location of this accommodation was great, within walking distance of the main city centre and right outside the metro station. Overall, the experience of staying at Monart was enjoyable, with snacks in the main area and great recommendations by the host. One thing to note is that there's no lift, and it's up four flights of stairs! Highly recommend!

La chambre était très grande, propre. L'hôtel est situé à côté du musée archéologique, près du centre historique, à côté de deux entrées de métro pour se rendre au terminus et à la Place Garibaldi d'où partent toutes les excursions pour Pompéi ou la côte amalfitaine. Par contre, c'est un quartier bruyant à côté d'un boulevard et surtout, l'hôtel est situé au troisième étage donc pour ceux qui voyagent avec de grosses valises à roulettes, c'est très haut pour monter les escaliers. Pour voyageurs en sac à dos, c'est déjà mieux. Les échanges avec le personnel se font essentiellement par messages, mais si vous êtes à l'aise avec les messageries, c'est parfait.

Pretty easy directions and info on getting to the room. The room was on the 3rd floor but it felt like the 6th floor carrying 2-50 pound suitcases up the stairs, 28 steps per floor (yes I counted them) plus several steps before you actually begin your ascent, no elevator option. The host was nice but somewhat unresponsive to inquiries through Expedia. He was supposed to arrange a taxi to the ferry terminal but when I inquired of him multiple times about it that morning he never responded and we had to make alternate plans to get to our ferry by train instead because we were short on time. He finally responded after the time the taxi was supposed to arrive but didn’t arrive. The taxi would have gotten there too late so I’m glad we quickly made alternate arrangements. Better communication that morning would have been nice. I chose this property because it was conveniently located across the street from the archaeological museum but it was closed the day we had to visit, Tuesday, so we never saw it after all. The entry light nor the ceiling light in the bathroom worked either. It was an okay stay but it could have been better. Thanks for the free bottle of red wine!

Monica is the ultimate host and Monart Cavour is in a convenient location right next to the Museo subway stop and the Archeological Museum (a must see!). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony overlooked a vibrant city scape - your window on Naples!

The positives: we had everything we needed, the room was clean and stocked, the air conditioning worked nicely which is important in southern Italy, and Monica was great. She was very responsive and helpful and even got someone to help us with our bags up to the room when we arrived. The mini fridge was welcome also for storing beverages. Everything was clean and orderly. The negatives or unexpected things: this isn't a hotel, it's really an airbnb type situation. There is no front desk and the owner isn't on site. If that's important to you then reconsider staying here. Also there are several flights of stairs to the rooms so if that is an issue stay elsewhere or pack very light. Now, had I been staying here by myself I would have been quite concerned. As a New Yorker I'm not easily frightened, however, at night the area is very dark and there is a considerable unhoused/transient issue in the immediate area. It is also right by a subway stop which can be convenient if you are using the subway system but we felt quite unsafe walking back to the hotel at night. It's not a highly traveled area at night so we were often alone out there and there are any dark areas for nefarious people to hide so we were on our guard always. Also, not many places to eat nearby. If you want the prettiest, most touristy part of Naples this is not for you. All that being said there's nothing Monica could have done to improve our stay and we were grateful for her hospitality.

Stay here! Great location. Wonderful facility.

Okay, let's get this out of the way - it's a walk up three flights of stairs to get the hospitality. Once you get past that, the place is wonderful. Large, clean room. Comfy beds. Hot shower. Nice communal room with other guests. Delicious coffee maker. The location is fantastic. Across the street from the museum. Pretty quite neighborhood. Felt safe.

The property located right next to the metro station and Naples museum, super convenient to all the popular attractions in Naples Good size room, very clean. Easy communication with Monica every steps from before check in to check out. Building is bit dated. 3 levels on stairs can be tiring. Bit noisy at night because the room is facing the Main Street.

Didn't love it

Property is located in what appears to be an apartment building. Long walk up the stairs to get to the property. The unit was 34F when we entered and never really cooled down properly. Obviously, it was August in Italy...but I think if the AC was left on prior to our arrival, it could have helped keep the room more comfortable.

The family that owns this B&B is so nice. They were so responsive and welcoming. Gianpaolo and Monica were more than helpful and truly great hosts. We were comfortable, had great recommendations and would recommend this place to anyone going to Napoli!

Monica and her son made us welcome and gave us lots of useful information about things to see in Naples. The flat is up several flights of stairs, but thankfully there was a lift part way up, would highly recommend this establishment, literally next door to a metro. Ps the hop on hop off bus was not useful at all,which in my experience is unusual, better to use the public transport system .

Nice antiquity-inspired B&B!

the room is comfortable, spacious and clean, literally in two steps of the Archeological museum & in 10 min from the Ipogeo dei Cristallini, the other important cultural site. Location is just perfect!!! Trains to connect anywhere literally right outside the door. Walking distance to city center. The staff very attentive and super nice. I would stay again for sure.

Monart is located near 2 metro stations Cavour and Museo which connects you with the main points of interest in Napoli as well as Pompei, Vesuvio and Herculanum. It is also close to the Anthropological museum (in front of the hotel) and at a walkable distance to the Rione Sanita and to Sta Chiara Convent, as well as many other remarkable churches and points of interest. Near the hotel there is also plenty of restaurants for all prices and tastes, as well as theaters and bars. But the main positive aspect is the hotel itself. Although small (only 3 guest rooms) the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The Monart is incredibly well managed by its owner, Monica. She is nice and welcoming, and she is always there to help you and give you advice and information about everything related to Naples. I stayed for 6 nights and I would never consider staying anywhere else when I come back.

Fantastisk sted!

Jeg hadde et fantastisk opphold på dette fine stedet. Eieren Monica er søt, hjelpsom og alltid tilgjengelig for spørsmål. Hun kommer også med gode forslag til hva man kan se og oppleve i Naples. Dessuten lager hun en fantastisk frokost hver morgen. Hotellet var lett å finne og veldig fint med kodelås så man kan ankomme når det passer. Selve stedet var pent oppusset. Det var stilfullt innredet med blanding av nytt og fine vintage møbler. Sengene var fantastisk gode å sove i. Gode puter og dyner. Stedet er sentralt og du får mye for pengene. Jeg kommer definitivt til å booke her igjen på min neste tur og anbefale det til familie og venner. Takk for et supert opphold Monica.
