"Campton Kiyomizu is a traditional Japanese hotel conveniently located in the old town center of Kyoto. There was a near-by grocery store open 24 hours, which we frequented, and taxis were always available. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and all areas were very clean. It even had a washing machine. They gave us comfortable pajamas which we ended up purchasing. We were delighted with our room, the bed was huge and the whole room was spotlessly clean and had a lovely sitting area next to the window. We were not disappointed with our choice for our first stop in Japan."
