In exciting Nashville, there's a cozy and historic cottage called The Howe House, named after the family who built the home in the roaring 20s. This home has been carefully restored and updated so your loved ones can feel at home while exploring one of the hottest neighborhoods in East Nashville. Take a dip in the sparkling pool that's shared with a nearby apartment community, and get a workout in the fitness area on the same site. Explore the city with its unbeatable river views, nightlife, entertainment, world-famous eateries, and an array of family-friendly attractions.

Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. The home has an air of historic sophistication with dashes of modern and stylish decor, making everyone feel at home. Curl up with a good book while relaxing on plush furniture or stream a movie on the large TV. Hobby chefs will love creating culinary charms in the full kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, a floating island, and a lovely formal dining table. With six beds, there's more than enough room for everyone to get a comfortable night's rest from the day's activities. Kids will love having a place to themselves in the upstairs loft! College Graduation with Extended Family
This is a great house in a great location for inter-generational guests. We had two sets of elderly grandparents who needed private bathrooms and limited stairs. There are three wonderful large bedrooms on the main floor, 2 with their own bathrooms. The living room is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is connected so you can cook and still be part of the action. The third floor was great for our teenage/adult children. The location is convenient - 5 Daughter's Doughnuts and Jenni's ice-cream just around the corner and lots of nice neighbourhoods to walk in. Only a couple of drawbacks - it is an old house so doors don't close properly and the upstairs is pretty warm - however, we used the community grill one nights, sat outside in the back on a cooler evening and our teens used the fitness center. I highly recommend this location.

Great Spot minor suggestions
Overall was a great stay. We did have some issues with the door lock code not working. Usually took 4-5 tries to get in and once I had to call. A little frustrating when coming back late. We loved the character of the house but of course with the age of the home comes a few challenges. There is a door in the kitchen that only locks with a light chain, not the most secure, the shower door in the middle bedroom does not close so water gets on the floor. The kitchen could use some more items such as a larger frying pan, a tea kettle and a tea pot.

Concert weekend getaway
Stayed with 3 couples. Room for another couple comfortably. Clean, spacious, quiet house. I will stay here every time I return to Nashville. 10 minute Uber ride to Broadway. Plus walking distance to great local restaurants and bars. If you’re looking for a place to stay when visiting Nashville - choose this house.

Could have been better
Overall the stay was good. Unfortunately there were several things that would have made it better. I am not sure who the cleaning company is but they shouldn’t be cleaning houses. None of the beds upstairs were made. Sheets were just thrown on the beds so we didn’t know if they were clean or dirty so we washed all of the sheets on every bed upstairs and downstairs. The floors were filthy. We swept and wiped down some of the floor to clean it. The air did not work upstairs at all and no fans were provided. The 3 people that were supposed to sleep upstairs had to share beds with those downstairs. There was very minimal towels to use for showering, no cleaning supplies, 1 garbage bag, and minimal toilet paper. The Filter on the refrigerator is 99% dirty and needs to be changed. The house is historic and beautiful however I am not sure about it as a rental. We paid a lot to stay there and it just wasn’t really worth it. It’s a perfect rental for 3 people, nothing more than that though.

A Disaster
Vacasa cancelled our reservation en route, never answered their phone, and did not tell us the pool was closed. when we arrived, house was a mess. VRBO tried to intervene though how they compensated us was pennies compared to the panic and frustration we withstood.

Comfortable but not for those wanting full kitchen use
Very limited utensils and amenities. Only one hair dryer, no soap for showers, no extra towels. Less stocked than a hotel. But very much enjoyed the turn of the century architecture and beds were comfortable.
