"Top floor room with lake view. Good aircon. Sloping roof meant a fair amount of stopping to get in and out of bed. Excellent breakfast, though very busy dining room. Close to cafes and bars but only paid for parking in public car park available."

"Hotel Amalias Hus was in a great location- close to downtown and great hiking trails behind the property. The food was delicious- lovely 3 course breakfast with lots of choices and dinner was also very good. A quaint, historic property with lots of little seating areas outside to enjoy a book or a drink. All the staff were extremely accommodating. Forget to mention there are nice views of Lake Vättern from the dining room."
