"We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort.The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. "Excellent, cozy hotel in Nikko. Comfortable room and bedding. Very clean and well designed. Nice lounge area and a great selection of quality curated food you can reheat on the kitchen area. I wish the Marriott’s in the US were as nice. Staff was terrific. Several good restaurants are 5-10 minutes walking distance and the main sights are a pretty 30 minute walk but taxis and buses are also available."
