"I was bitten by what appeared to be bed bugs. I contacted room service immediately, and when an attendant(Robert) came to inspect the situation, the first thing he said upon seeing the bites was that they were likely caused by bed bugs as if he knew that the hotel had bed bugs.
This situation caused me significant distress and disrupted my trip. In an attempt to address my complaint, the hotel moved me to a different room in the middle of the night(3:46 am) I was told this was an upgrade for the inconvenience but the room was essentially the same, if not smaller and staff repeatedly entered and exited the room until approximately 4:15 AM, further disturbing my rest.
The following day, I was moved again as the previous room they “upgraded “ me to, was not an upgrade it was a smaller room then my original booking. While in this room, I discovered what appeared to be dead bed bug stuck in a towel while using the washroom. When I reported this to the front desk, they again refused to acknowledge that it was a bed bug.
Additionally, they have attempted to inspect my room only when I am not present, and when I decline due to my absence, they shift blame onto me. The duty manager ( rich) finally acknowledged it was a bed bug she tried bribing me with a bottle of wine and breakfast in the morning only because I advised that i was going to report this to Expedia and write a google review. She kept insisting “please don’t,iwill get it sorted out”.Nothing sorted out. Very disappointed"
