We only stayed a weekend, to attend the Sounds of the Mountains storytelling festival at nearby Camp Bethel. We hope to go back when we can stay longer, to see more of the town & surrounding area.」

「This was just what we needed. It was nice to unplug for a few days and just enjoy our family with no distractions. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We made s’mores on the fire and cooked steaks on the grill. There is a lot of things to do within a short distance.」

Plus, there was a full bottle of water in the water cooler when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting down by the water and watching the ducks float by. We communicated both with Evolve, and with the local contact, and everyone was helpful and quick to reply. Would not hesitate to stay again!」

「We enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the woods! Plenty close to all Natural Bridge attractions and not far from Lexington either! My husband and I and two kids (6 and 3) loved this area and the scenery and fresh air I it here. Sun room and sound of the brook was very peaceful. 「We had an absolutely lovely stay while visiting Washington & Lee with our son. The cabin is immaculate and beautifully decorated Scandinavian style. And the view is priceless. 「Perfect home for our family for a week spent around graduation at VMI. We had no idea we’d be staying in a VMI alumnus’ home. Extra treat! The house was well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen for family meals. Location was perfect with amenities like the beautiful wrap around porch that overlooks the river. John was very helpful and communicative. Would definitely recommend this host/property and try to stay at this same location should the opportunity arise.」

Great location close to Lexington but still felt like a real escape. Our host was accessible, friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!」
