「We had a short trip to Ella and booked Hotel Onrock for one night. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill and was a bit tricky to find but once we found it, I could not fault anything about the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The room was extremely spacious and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The highlight for me was the restaurant. 「굉장한 숙소였습니다. 사장님 부부가 굉장히 친절하게 이래저래 많은 것들을 알려주시고, 조식은 맛있게 준비해주십니다. 과일 차 토스트 계란이지만, 항상 만족스럽게 먹었습니다. 뷰도 사진과 같고, 엘라 자체가 고지대기 때문에, 더위를 많이 타는 저도 에어컨 없이도 충분히 지낼 수 있습니다. 얼떨결에 일박을 더 했지만, 충분히 그럴 가치가 있는 곳이라고 생각합니다. 숙소로 올라가는 길이 계단이기 때문에, 캐리어를 들고 가는건 힘들 수도 있을 것 같습니다. 저는 백팩이라 큰 문제가 없었는데요. 」

「It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.」
