Lovely, Comfortable and Clean!

We’ve been coming to Navarre since the early 90’s and this is by far the nicest place we’ve stayed. Lovely, comfortable and clean with great views. Easy access to the beach and garage parking were nice additions, along with ice maker in fridge and really good water pressure in the showers!

The Carlyle Candescence

We absolutely loved this house!! It is in great condition and all the amenities functioned well once we figured them out! The only recommendations are as follows: Update the manual explaining in detail how to manage the different appliances. Vacasa was excellent to work with. We had an issue with our refrigerator and they brought us another one out within hours and had an appliance company come and fix the issue. It was seamless. The views were amazing from the porch and the master BR balcony. All the furniture was super comfy including the mattresses. Would definitely stay here again!!

Very nice property and host was easy to communicate with. The sliding doors were very difficult to open and we wished there were a few more forks in the kitchen but otherwise, no complaints. Beach access was so easy with the boardwalk and being on the end was nice. Very quiet beach are, not near a lot of built up things.

Great stay

We did a family vacation ages ranging from 21-6. Checkin was great super easy and house was very clean. It came with everything you need for a great stay. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. It also came with beach toys, chairs, net, beach towels etc. The only thing we needed to purchase was fishing pools. Our stay was amazing 10/10 recommend this vrbo and navarre.

Parking was tight with having big truck. Elevator was broke had to go up all the stairs. We had to call Saturday night when we arrived because the upstairs air was not working we called about 10 pm. The person we talked to was unprofessional when speaking to me and very rude just a heads up on you night time help with problems. The day workers were very nice and helpful we really enjoyed the stay after that and the air was fixed very next day .

Thanksgiving at the Carlyle

My boyfriend and his parents and I stayed at the Carlyle Townhouse for Thanksgiving. We couldn't have had a better view, place to stay or overall time. The house is utterly beautiful and has one of the best views of the sunrise and sunset from the beautiful, open patio during this time of year. If we venture back to Navarre we'll be sure to book this oasis!

Great place!

The townhouse was beautifully decorated. It was perfect for our family of 6. There were plenty of dishes and utensils. The upstairs air conditioner quit cooling but it was fixed by a maintenance person within 2 hours after calling it in. We loved the view of the ocean from the patio and the upstairs balcony.

Great location

The location was great and the condo was beautiful. The only issues we had were a fruit fly infestation in every part of the house when we arrived, so we had to be careful about leaving any food sitting out and take the trash out contatantly. The dishwasher was also out of order so we had to buy paper plates and silverware.

Very nice visit

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, when we first arrived, I realized that no where on my reservation and subsequent notifications did it tell you where or how to get access. So we had to call the 800 number, where the agent was quick to help. Also, the patio doors in the bedrooms did not close or shut and the locks appear to be broken. This made us feel a bit unsafe.

Well appointed but some non working items

Loved the view, decor, garage and well appointed rooms. Unfortunately the dishwasher was broken. The front gate also had no lock in it, which left the entrance vulnerable. Door to garage was a keypad but keys were required for home door. The townhome was very clean and neat with extensive kitchen inventory.

Lovely townhome on an even lovelier beach!

We spent ten days at this townhome and it is really very nice. The decor is quite over the top and it is obvious someone put a lot of time and money into the design and materials. I love that there is zero carpet. The washer and dryer worked well and I loved having that option. The beds are quite comfy and the fridge is new. The mini drawer dishwasher is cute but not really functional, it holds so little. No big deal, I don't mind washing dishes. They do have working blenders and toaster but the pans are teflon coated and it is flaking off badly and they are so worn we chose to buy a pan instead. The a/c was not cooling the first day and a technician was prompt in addressing the issue. The only suggestions I would make and the reason for my 4 star rating is the patio furniture is quite dirty and very worn, the downstairs patio table is so damaged it is unusable and the upstairs outdoor rockers are rusted out underneath, so we were afraid to sit on them. I understand it is probably very hard to keep up with the damage from the elements. Thats a bummer since eating and congregating outside is the best part of a beach vacation. The living room furniture is insufficient for the amount of people the unit accomadates and very uncomfortable. It looks nice but no one wanted to sit on it in the evenings when we wanted to watch movies together. Also, fyi-the sliding door only locks from the inside, the keyhole is corroded, so you have to go out from the garage if you want to lock up. The surf is a gorgeous green most days and the sand is sugar white, so perfect! All in all with a little love this place could be perfect.

Perfect in every which way. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at such a well appointed beach house. It was stocked with everything we needed and directly on the beach. We’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful beach home

Gorgeous home with tall ceilings and large chandeliers make this place very impressive. Perfect location right in the beach. House was clean on arrival with plenty of toiletries to get you started. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to fix meals at the home. The dishwasher is a drawer type and probably holds 40% capacity compared to a normal dishwasher. Something to keep in mind if you have a large family. Also the internet doesn’t have great coverage/reliability. There are areas of the townhouse which don’t get enough coverage to load a web page. The internet sporadically went down sometimes for 30 seconds-5 minutes. This would happen repeatedly throughout our week long stay. Sometimes 5-8 times an hour. Other times it would be fine most of the day. If you plan on doing any kind of work that you need to have a continuous connection I would plan accordingly. I’m taking one star off for the responsiveness/misinformation of the management company. I believe there is room for improvement in that area. We arrived late Saturday evening and picked up our keys from a lock box outside the Vacasa office as they were closed already. Multiple signs at the townhouse stated only one vehicle can be parked outside the garage or it will be towed. The code for the garage is not given in any information online or in the welcome folder in the townhouse. I called the Vacasa office Sunday during business hours as the local office is closed on Sunday. They gave me a code to the garage which turned out not to work. I had to wait until Monday and call the local office to get the correct code for the garage. On Wednesday night of our trip there were some bad storms nearby and I guess the alarm panel is synced with weather alerts and repeatedly between 11pm-2am the alarm system went off with a tornado warning. It went off every 20-30 minutes and all you can do is dismiss the alert on the panel. The panel itself is not functioning correctly and has a ghosted/duplicate image of itself making navigation of menus next to impossible. The alarm itself is a loud piercing siren that woke us up out of our sleep. I ended up just sitting by the alarm system downstairs to silence it every time it went off so my family could try to get some rest. After the alarm went off 4 times I called the emergency Vacasa number as I didn’t know what else to do. This was approximately 12:45am. The lady on the phone said there was nothing she could do, but would put in a request for the local office to come look at it and fix it once they get in first thing in the morning. I never received a phone call or follow up so I called the local office at 3pm to check on the status. The gentlemen that answered was polite and concerned, but was unaware of what was going on. He looked up the incident where I called and noted that the main office I called placed it on a specific maintenance persons list and he wasn’t working that day. He apologized and said he would assign it to someone who is at work today and someone will be out shortly. I never saw anyone or received a call back the rest of the day. The next morning at 9am I got a call from the maintenance person who said he would follow up with the homeowner to see if there was a setting on the alarm system that could be changed. He also stated he would let the property manager know since I was up all night silencing the alarm. I never did get a follow up response from maintenance, but luckily the alarm didn’t have any other problems. The property manager did call me back that Friday afternoon and apologized and offered some compensation for the inconvenience which was appreciated. Both times I had an issue during my week I had to make repeated phone calls to get the issue corrected. I feel the whole point of a property management service should be to have someone local who can take care of issues. I...

Absolutely beautiful!

I can’t tell you enough good things about this property. It’s absolutely beautiful from the moment you walk through the door. It’s really stunning and spotless. It was the most beautifully decorated home we’ve stayed in. It was such a pleasure spending 4 nights there and we can’t wait to return. Perfect Location

We were looking for a quieter spot for our annual family vacation this year. The Carlyle was the perfect location. The house is amazing. The deck has beautiful views of the white sandy beach. We hope to make this our annual spot. The only negative...and it certainly isn't a big deal considering what an amazing time we had...the rental states it includes beach service. It isn't a true beach service. We called and got everything set up. They didn't come until 9:30 on the 2nd day. We tipped the young man and told him we were there for 9 more days. We never saw them again. We had a 10 day rental. The equipment is not stored in the traditional boxes out of the weather. It was left at the end of the boardwalk and was in pretty bad condition. We were able to set it up ourselves for the rest of the stay.
