"From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with the most hospitable staff. Our concierge, Angel Nieves, went above and beyond to take care of all our needs and help us with advice and suggestions. All the hotel staff, without exception, were very attentive, professional and so friendly. Shout out to the vibrant bartender, Axel, for his fantastic spirit and excellent skills. All the restaurant were exceptional and the dining experience was simply exquisite! We also loved the nightly live entertainment at the lobby. We enjoyed the music and dance and shared good times with the other guests. Can't wait for our next visit."

"After a major surgery where I almost lost my life one of my wishes was to be able to swim again, we had a chance to book a stay for only one night, I am overwhelmed by the staff very attentive the big and nice pool and the ocean steps away. We enjoyed the food was delicious and the waitress at the television salon was amazing and very courteous even though it was a busy night of the World Cup. The hotel provided us with snacks while we watched the game. For being my wish after being so ill I was blessed it happened to be at The Occidental in Nuevo Nayarit. Thank you!"

"The hotel was great Sandra was very helpful at check-in. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We met the kitchen manager Bertha who went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience and never failed to ask if we ever needed anything. She has a great attitude and nice personality and knew how to accommodate our needs. We ate at the Rosata restaurant the beef and the margherita pizza were excellent. The cevecheria was also another great lunch spot by the beach. The steak restaurant in the evening was also pretty tasty. The buffet had a great variety every day I really enjoyed it. The men working the outdoor bar in the cevecheria always approached us and made sure we were good with drinks. The drinks were quite delicious and not watered down (piña coladas and Palomas were good). Overall, for the price and what it had to offer it was great. The only thing to note is that they close the restaurants at certain hours to switch foods daily, but they do offer 24hr room service."

"Amazing huge property with its of entertainment and 8 beautiful pools, great kids activities. It’s so huge that I think it’s hard to keep well maintained and totally clean, but it wasnt too bad and reasonably priced and we will definitely come back"
