“Very disappointing — Luxury prices, substandard service.
Having enjoyed a previous stay at one of the Nobu Hotel Chicago suites, I was shocked by the decline in service during our recent visit.
1. Credit card charge: At check-in, staff explicitly confirmed I could pay in cash at checkout, yet the hotel charged my card against our agreement, without my consent.
2. Disregard for privacy: Housekeeping repeatedly knocked insistently despite our privacy indicator being activated.
3. Poor……

“The room was nice and staff as well
They don’t include breakfast so be prepared.
My only note is that they don’t do the extra mile for you as a guest. If you have a special request or they know you need something extra they won’t offer their help which I know they don’t have to but it just feels like staff only does their job because they have to they won’t go beyond that.”

“It was a honeymoon trip. We spent 2 nights at Hotel Blake. Before our check-in, I texted them through the app about our late check-in, and the concierge was so responsive. I didn't ask for anything, but they treated us to a bottle of white wine and a box of chocolate, which was above my expectations! Beyond that, they upgraded us to a corner room. It means a lot to us because of the Taste of Chicago event, I got to see the fireworks from the huge windows. Highlighted our honeymoon, thank you,……
