“We had a long weekend in Starling cottage. It was peaceful, quaint, comfortable and clean. It was a good base to explore the local area and visit our friends in Neath. I would definitely return. ”

“Pod was beautiful, really warm and the shower was fab really powerful and water was hot. The telly is a,smart TV so you have to sign into your accounts to watch anything...just remember to sign out before you leave. The only issue i have is in the information book it had phone numbers of takeaways so we thought we'd have a takeaway on last night, but when i rang they didn't do delivery! It could be because it was a Tuesday but keep that in mind. But it didn't spoil our stay. ”

“The cottage was very cosy and clean, with everything that we needed for our 3 night stay. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed using it, especially after our days out, despite the weather!!The hosts Debora and Paul were very helpful when we couldn't access the property with the code given by the agent. Would highly recommend a stay here and will be back. Thank Debora and Paul”

“We had a lovely stay here, for the price we had everything we needed, and the pool was such an added bonus. For us it was a shame there weren't many footpaths directly near the cottage, but there are so many attractions in a short drive it didn't really matter. ”

“Lynn and her team were very welcoming and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Being able to charge our EV overnight was also a huge plus. The apartment is ideally suited for short breaks and is not sure whether it wants to be a hotel suite or a self catering venue. That being said we were able to cook a lot of different meals, but a few more cleaning materials and equipment would have been welcome. I was able to borrow a broom from the hotel, and possibly could have borrowed more if……

“Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. ”

“My family and I had an incredible time in Wales, and this house was a major reason! Very spacious and comfortable with top notch appliances and a workout room! Next time we’ll book in the summer so we can enjoy the garden more fully! And there will absolutely be a “next time”!”
