“Modern, well equipped villa with heaps of space. Unfortunately we chose the coldest week on the island in most people's memory, so we didn't use the pool and could have done with a heater at night. But normally this would not be a problem. The outlook is beautiful and we enjoyed the park and beach outside the back door. While Picnic Bay is the quietest part of the island it has a pub, wine bar, cafe and two excellent restaurants.”

“Awesome place and amenities with privacy pool right near the beach but at nearly $500 per night we expected more toilet rolls and maybe a coffee machine and a transfer back to Nelly Bay would have been nice as luggage on a packed bus made it difficult. Basic washing machine and cheap liquid made clothes smell and dishwasher was very basic for a luxury unit.”

“This property was exactly as presented online. The villa was spacious and airconditioned throughout. The beds were quite comfortable too which is always a plus. Felt quite private given you're not joined directly to other accommodation. The only negative is the pool was heated in the middle of summer and felt like jumping into a cup of tea!”

“Missed the mark. The property appears luxurious on website, but is a little tired. The pool is way smaller than it appears and must have been photographed with a fish eye lens.The furniture is run down with sticky worn out varnish on table tops. The lounge setting had worn out cushions and raffia coming away at the armrest. The kitchen is not well appointed for a family stay or for in house catering , minimal pots and pans and of very poor quality. This also goes for the bath towels , which were……

“Magnetic island was a wonderful place to stay. Villa was very spacious. And could walk to marina and a few restaurants. Villa Is a little bit worn out but overall it was great”
