Wonderful, thoughtful touches by the owners made this a stand-out option. The unit is located in a quiet pocket but close enough to everything you need. Sat on the balcony looking out at the water - bliss. Unit is older style but very clean and comfortable.

The apartment was lovely and clean, the kitchen had modern appliances which was nice. The short stroll to the beach made for a quick and easy activity with our toddler. Nice big balcony to sit on and look out on the water. The area was lovely and quiet. Short drive to the middle or Nelson Bay or Shoal Bay and central to most of the activities in the area. We would gladly stay again 🙂

Very nice location, apartment needs updating kitchen and bathroom and some de cluttering. We arrived and noticed workers placing bunting up on beach access. Turns out for our entire stay we had excavators and trucks up and down the beach and no access to enjoy the reason we stayed here. We were not informed prior to booking regarding these works. We also had a 40 degree day! And the only ceiling fan is in the main bedroom which only works when the light is on…not ideal when trying to sleep at night! Broken recliner lounge chair in lounge area. Having said that the apartment stays fairly comfortable and the balcony is perfect as are the views. Overall it has a nice feel about it and it was extremely quiet, no traffic noise ( when the trucks knocked off ) just waves crashing. Also nice to have a lock up garage and another car park to use Would I stay again…yes! Hopefully the owners take on some of these shortfalls and improve the experience. It is an older building hence the original bathroom, kitchen and furniture and art choices. But they have supplied almost everything you could possibly need for a nice holiday.

We had a bit of a hiccup with keys upon arrival but it was sorted out quickly by the host. The apartment was clean, cosy and lovely with amble blankets, towels and tea. We loved that we could easily store our bikes in the garage and take off riding straight from the door. The only thing that I would say is that the shower’s water pressure was weak, but is expected for the era of the building. We loved our stay, it had stunning views, a quick walk straight onto the beach and it’s cute little balcony with a comfy day bed to chill out. Thank you, would love to return sometime soon!

Great location & views. Kitchen a little dated and despite closing doors & windows and putting food away etc had a multitude of bugs in it every night. Also found an open half full packet of chips under one of the beds. Shower temp was difficult to get right. Overall though the unit was set out nicely and had free WiFi, Netflix and Apple TV which was good. Owners were easy to communicate with and provided good information.

Excellent location, close to beach and bushland. Everything needed for a family stay was there. While the apartment was comfortable, the electric stove was old and the hotplates were not efficient, and the shower was difficult to adjust for temperature. Despite these issues we enjoyed our stay and would return.

The unit was really comfortable and very much felt like home. It was right on the beach so fabulous location for beach lovers. While it’s a short drive to surrounding shops and restaurants the location would be less attractive if you did not have your own transport but that is the only slightly negative thing I could say. I would highly recommend this place.

Right on the beach. Beautiful spot. So wonderful to watch the sunrise from the balcony each day. Minor cleaning could be freshened up. Shower screen rims, taps, corners etc.
