“This cabin was perfect. All the updates and furnishings were amazing! The cabin felt very cozy and the living spaces also felt open & spacious. The property was beautiful with the stream and mature trees. We visited Eau Claire, hiked at a nearby nature conservancy along the Chippewa River and relaxed at the cabin (we did not want to leave). We hope to return soon! This is really a special place!”

“We ere hoping to have a cozy spot where we could relax and unwind. We were hoping to take in local attractions and have a couple drinks and a nice meal. We were hoping to head home after the weekend feeling refreshed. We got exactly what we were hoping for.”

“This place was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of life! It was just what o hoped for being small and quaint and in the middle of the wilderness. The cabin over looked a pond and the leaves were orange, red, yellow, green! The temperature had dropped to the low 30s but we still enjoyed the time away!”

“It was a in and out stay. Would have liked to been able to check in earlier since we came from a distance and woulda been nice to have a place to change church clothes without a fee. Other than that all worked out.”

“We stayed in the Bear cabin which was very clean upon arrival and welcoming. The patio has a table and chairs outside which was very helpful as we forgot our camping chairs! Every interaction with the owners was very friendly and helpful. Grills look nice but could use a little TLC. Making sure they have a full tank and that they are working. Between two nearby we couldn't get them going. They had extra propane tanks but by the time we realized we were too hungry and cooked inside instead. One……

“My husband and I wanted an easy quick getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the area and access to good restaurants and bars as well as cute shops and a nice walk along the river. The apartment was in a great location and the bed was very comfortable which were my top criteria.”

“We had a wonderful time at the Lions Downe cabin, beautiful and expansive views up and down the river, hot tub for relaxing conversation at sun down, huge kitchen and living areas for having meals and playing games. We hope to be back again!”

“The barn was great. The location was very close to a number of small towns that had fun things to do. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was quiet upstairs but helpful and available by text. She stopped out once to make sure the dogs weren't bothering us... They weren't. My kids loved playing fetch with them. We didn't get to use the fire pit because it was so windy, but we would definitely come back next time we're in the area.”
