"The resort is stunning now. We stayed here a few years ago when it was very tired, but it is unrecognisable after a full renovation. In fact I didn’t realise when I booked that it was the same place. The rooms are well laid out for a comfortable stay with plenty of room to put your bags and hang clothes. Our room on the first floor had a great view over the bay, and I think all the rooms face that way. A class act."

"We had a fantastic stay at Annie’s place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Port Stephens! Annie was a wonderful host who responded promptly to our messages throughout our stay. She also kindly allowed us a late check-out, which was very helpful and much appreciated. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. Having two bathrooms was a huge bonus for our family. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The kitchen was stocked with essentials like cooking oil, salt, and pepper, which saved us from having to buy full bottles for just one meal. The location is amazing—just a 2-minute walk to the beach. We loved waking up each morning to the beautiful sound of birds singing and were delighted to see rabbits hopping around the neighbourhood. We even managed to catch some fish while fishing at nearby Little Beach Jetty. For dog owners, Bagnalls Dog Beach is only about a 10-minute drive away. Our dogs loved their walks there, while the kids enjoyed swimming and playing on the sand. What impressed us most was how thoughtful Annie was in providing so many useful items for guests. The accommodation had DVDs, books, board games, insect repellent, umbrellas, beach chairs, and many other handy extras. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you, Annie, for a wonderful stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again when we return to Port Stephens!"
