"Our check-in experience this time was perfect because someone from VIP services took us to their office to check us in. Unfortunately, late at night during our stay, we found that our tub/shower was not draining properly. Maintenance was called and tried to fix it twice. Eventually, we had to change rooms during our stay/vacation. We were transferred to the new room, and our tub/shower door was off the tracks. Maintenance had to come up a fix that too. We were told that our resort fees would be removed for our four-night stay and eventually were, after calling to have it done. We still enjoy the Nugget Corner room suites, their casino, restaurants, pool, bars, and staff, but they do need to upgrade and perform more routine maintenance. It would be great if the Nugget could offer an upgrade or room credit for our next stay due to the inconvenience of our trip being interrupted and having to move rooms. This was our 2nd stay this year and we plan another!"
