hotel with character and nice owner and staff
Cave Hotel Saksagan is in a very good location. it is slightly off the city centre so you can have very good sleep at night. town centre and the sunset platform are in easy walking distance (5-15min walk). there's a supermarket in 1min walking. the witty owner Numan gaves us a lot of good advice and tips ( The suggestion of cave restaurant - Topdeck is so cool). He also helped us arrange the shuttle to airport. highly recommend this hotel and i do wish to go back for holiday.

Cave hotel saksagan. Great experience!
It was a real cave hotel experience and we enjoyed it very much. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the shower had good water pressure. I want to emphasize on how respectful and helpful the staff was. He helped us with our luggage as soon as we parked, he showed us where we could see the best sunset in cappadocia and gave us yogurt when we asked for it during breakfast.

Excellent
Séjour de 5 nuits dans cet hôtel refait à neuf. Chambre est spacieuse avec un lit grande taille, un canapé, un petit frigo et une SdB grande et fonctionnelle. Le Pdj est copieux et varié (omelettes...) et les produits sont de qualité et/ou fait maison. Staff qui pourra vous aider pour vos visites et vous donnera de très bon conseil. Adresse que je recommande tant pour le site que la qualité du service ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas à Goreme ou le principe est plutôt de faire le minimum pour un profit maximum .

The hotel is close to everything. Our room, while not a cave room, was very adequate. It was clean, had a bathroom with a strong shower, an electric water kettle with tea bags and instant coffee, and a comfortable queen sized bed. Celal Bey and Ahmet Bey were super nice and helpful. Nazlı Hanim provided a delicious breakfast buffet each morning, including eggs however we liked, fried potatoes and a borek. It was delicious. The hotel was well worth the price. We’d definitely recommend and would stay again when in the area.

Amazing property and the best hosts ever. These guys arranged the Balloon tour and the Green tour for me and it was all worth it. Highly recommend this place, the food is great too.

The owner is amazing! He helped me book everything along the way and I had no hiccups in my journey. This is in a cave so you have to expect a cave. It was perfect and budget friendly and it's very close to the main Street.

Nice stay with some issues!!!
I would give this hotel a neutral rating. The outdoor gardens, rooftop terrace, and the hotel lobby and breakfast area are all very cute, well-kept and quaint. But the actual room was more to be desired. One of our beds was in very bad condition (completely sunk, and hard things poking up), so my son had a very difficult time sleeping on it the first night. Of course, we didn't know until he tried to lay down and we informed the hotel and they said they can bring us a new bed the next day because it's at a different hotel. So unfortunately, my son had to sleep in it for one night (very uncomfortable sleep). The bathroom is probably our biggest criticism. The hotel pictures did not show the bathroom at all. there was one photo of one bathroom that seemed to show a sink and a separate shower, but when we arrived, we noticed a very small bathroom with sink and toilet and a shower that had no separate curtain or glass compartment. So when we took a shower, the entire bathroom would get all wet with water splashed everywhere. This was quite inconvenient. We didn't have waterproof slippers to walk into the bathroom when it was wet. And the bathroom smelled a bit moldy. The bathroom door near the bottom had old moldy wood from the inside of the bathroom. Overall, everything else was okay. The breakfast buffet was simple Turkish style. We liked the Gozleme that was made for us every morning (Turkish style flat bread stuffed with ingredients - cheese and dill).

they don't know how to keep hotel clean
room wasn't ready when we arrived, the key for room was not ready, bathroom was not clean, bad smell from bathroom for whole night, they clean the room in 5 minutes I don't know how, in the morning we don't have water for restroom and shower, they didn't clean the table for breakfast,
