The Barn is a unique relic of architecture. Clad with over 100-year-old wide-plank oak and long leaf pine, it follows a classic gambrel design with tall, vaulted ceilings, barnwood beams and walls, with black steel accents. The barn is located within 8Sages-Gruene, a large estate located just across the Guadalupe River from the center of historic Gruene. Positioned within the gated property, the barn remains a private sanctuary with ample interior and exterior space to feel completely set apart from the estate as a whole. A mere golf cart ride from the heart of New Braunfels and Gruene, this luxury lodge is one of three uniquely designed, stand-alone, private two-bedroom, one bath, offerings complete with heated plunge pools, fire pits, enclosed patios and over 1200 sf each of hill country living. Perfect for couples’ getaways, large enough for small family stays, or rent as add-ons to the larger 3-acre estate of Texas limestone and ancient oaks. Our location is across the river from the Historic Gruene Hall. Tube the river, shop, dine, have a day/night out with your favorite people, then retreat back to your quiet oasis to watch dozens of deer wandering the property! For those interested in a work- play environment, the owners made special consideration to install a site-wide high-speed Wi-Fi system allowing for unlimited streaming services and communication via social platforms with your loved ones or fellow influencers.

Leather and antique dark wood make this entire property hip, warm and inviting. Upon entry into the barn, you are quickly greeted by 20’ ceilings, wide-plank walls, modern steel and cable stairway, and contemporary furnishings. The antique doors and windows as well as restored beams provide a glimpse into the history of this Texas Barn. Barnwood walls pull you into the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, complete with an oversized fridge, oven and range, kitchen island, plus much more, setting the stage for the chefs in your group to work culinary magic in the heart of the home. The open kitchen/dining/living can comfortably seat up to 8 guests. Cathedral ceilings frame the kitchen, dining & living spaces while the polished concrete floors, bespoke furnishings, and a 55” Smart UHDTV provide a modern aesthetic. Sleek chairs and sofas and 10’ high French doors lead to al fresco dining around your own private plunge pool. Enjoy designer light and noise canceling drapery as well as linen bedding and gel cooled mattresses in all bedrooms for our guests who want to sleep in and start their mornings just a little later while on vacation!

The golf carts are dropped off at the property prior to your arrival, gassed up, so all you have to do when you arrive is jump on in and cruise around! Let us help get your vacation started even sooner!

We can arrange for transportation to and from our vacation rentals. Additionally, the New Braunfels National Airport is located less than 7 miles from downtown New Braunfels making it a perfect option for our private travels. Transportation dependent on availability so ample time is greatly appreciated.

::Pet Policy::
Pets are allowed with an additional $250/nonrefundable pet deposit. Pets will not be allowed on the furniture and crates are highly encouraged. Owners are expected to clean up after your pet outside for the consideration of other renters. Additional fees could apply if we find that your pet was allowed on the furniture or beds or if we find it was left unnecessarily messy because of the pet, and/or if we find damage to any part of the home.
