Beautiful home, great location
This house was beautiful and perfectly placed location wise. Only negative… not enough hot water and the mattresses were not exactly the best to sleep on. Will we be back? absolutely!!

Great stay in the fall
We really enjoyed the house. Was a great place to stay and it was very clean. Only suggestion would be to add a little privacy to the hot tub on the side by the neighbors.

Wonderful Girls Weekend
Such a beautiful space, this cottage in the woods! We were enchanted the moment we pulled up. Plenty of space to sit, talk and connect, both inside and out. Kitchen had all amenities we needed to cook breakfast. Just minutes from Shopping, dining, and the beach. Wish we could have extended our stay and had more time to use the hot tub and bonfire pit - we will save that for next time! Our only recommendation would be to have another full/queen bed upstairs in the loft instead of multiple twin beds. Overall a 5 star experience!

Such a nice space/convenient location. Minutes to everything. We enjoyed our stay. Housekeeping staff needs to step up efforts. 1. Frying pan w/ dried egg in cabinet (we cleaned) 2. Ninja blender had some residue/smelled like spoiled beef stock (YUK! - we cleaned again). 3. Measuring cups w/ some misc. goo (now clean) 4. Blue, sticky shower gel blob left in master bath (removed) 5. Cookie sheet w/ crumbly residue (washed) 6. BYO (food) storage containers + tin foil 7. Detailed explanation to enter properly should be provided BEFORE arrival - not when guests are struggling to enter it. This is a v. nice property. Cleaning crew needs to pay closer attention to kitchen gadget / utensil cleanliness. It's disappointing to clean up after other guests. Would we recommend the property? Yes. Hopefully your stay will follow ours b/c we (thoroughly) cleaned everything we used before departure.

So peaceful!
It was just like you expect based on the photos, a nice quiet spot in a wooded lot. The neighbors on the one side are a bit close, but it's not nearly like the city, so it still felt like plenty of peace and quiet

Spacious and Spotless, but communication was lacking
Positives: The house was beautiful. Perfect for a weekend getaway with a few friends. The upstairs is cozy while the main common area is large enough for everyone to hang out together. The place was spotless and the kitchen had everything you'd need to bake or cook a large meal. There were lots of blankets, a pickle ball set (with a note saying where we could go to play), and the neighborhood was pretty and quiet. Negatives: The door code did not work when we got there, so I had to call Vacasa. On the plus side, they gave me the code to a lockbox and I was able to enter pretty quickly. Communication was a little difficult leading up to the stay. I got some canned responses that didn't answer my questions - and those were delayed. I was really annoyed at the extra fees that were added. The price when I checked out was much larger than expected when I was comparing houses - that was a huge bummer. Overall the house was a really great place to stay with plenty of room. There's also lots to do in New Buffalo! (If you bring a pup, be sure to protect them against ticks!)
