The property itself was very charming, and the staff were very friendly, and did their best to be helpful. The location on the Delaware River is lovely.
However, the bedroom was very hot at night, which made sleeping difficult. The ceiling was pitched at a low angle on one side, which meant I had to stoop over and take baby steps to get around the bed without clobbering myself on the head. The sink drained very slowly, a problem I twice asked housekeeping to get maintenance to work on; it was never done. We also asked for drinking glasses for water, twice. Again, never got them.
The bar is a charming, intimate, cozy place to hang out at; unfortunately, it closes at 9 p.m. Breakfast selections are very limited. The orange juice was spoiled, and the only thing I could eat there was yogurt, as I am allergic to wheat. There were no hot foods offered.
