"Overall, it was a good hotel; some staff were very helpful, others not. It's right in the centre of Times Square - if you are planning on seeing Broadway shows, it's a great location. As a first-time visitor, it was quite central compared to other places in New York, and the subway is close and convenient - it was easy to go explore all the other boroughs. The bed is very comfortable. The cleaners will come to change your towels and take out the garbage, but other than that, the room is pretty untouched. The bar in the lobby is convenient, and being out of town, you get a $34 credit per day to use (I'm not sure if this was a promo or not), but it's fun to grab a drink before going out. As we arrived very early and check-in was not until 4 pm, they tried to accommodate us by letting us into our room early, but we only got to our room around 2:30 (I would opt for an early check-in option so you can fully maximize your first day if you are arriving early, as we did). Upon check-in, a card is required for a $300 deposit, although upon check-out, you only get $150 back due to "Taxes"; these should've been included in the price of the hotel when booking, as we were told we would get the full $300 deposit back."

"Our room was perfect, clean and comfortable. A little too small for my liking but we were hardly ever in the room. Staff were amazing and kind. Being next to the grand central transportation was fabulous!!! I don’t know if we will ever stay else where, it was so convenient to get anywhere we’d like."
Margaritaville Resort Times Square

"We usually stay at a Hilton property, but thought we'd try this resort since we've never stayed here before. It was me, my husband, and my 16 year old daughter. --The Room--My daughter didn't like the mirror in front of the bed. The layout of the room wasn't functional. The bathroom needed more hooks for hanging towels. Also, the hook at the back of the swing out shower door wasn't well thought out. The tail knobs on the face basin was cute but the width of it hit and marked the wall. --The Restaurant--We ate here twice. The first time it took 40 minutes to get our food and there were only 4 tables, including ours, that was occupied on our level at the time. It was inconvenient and mind boggling that we couldn't charge the meal to the room. The second time we ate here, it took 25 minutes to get our food, at the time we went there were 3 tables (including ours) occupied. The food was luke warm. A part of the order was scrambled eggs with cheese; and, we were got were partly cooked eggs with slice of cheese from a wrapper. --The Hallway-- this always seemed warm all the time. --Overall--I don't think we'd stay at this location again and staying at another Margarittaville is questionable."
